I've received only two offers - both as STOP requests - but no one is willing to play my lvl 28 SS, Seijuro, even as a backup or even 3rd string despite his CE equipment and 3x boosts? I guess either hard-hitting SS's are frowned upon early in their careers or I built him wrong. Someone critique him.:

he's not very effective, never even forced a fumble being a hard hitter, maybe should of put more sp into str and tak then speed

The issue is I didn't want to play him on power tackling, since he's still grooming his caps. Plus, his FFum VA's are still low, he doesn't have anything in SA's (except CE), and I refuse to shop AEQ for him until lvl +40. Factoring in all this, I wasn't sure if it was because of his build or if it's because I need owners to be patient with him. I'm trying to take my lumps and build him slowly.

I might have to just consent to being a STOP until he levels up more. I think at his lvl he only needs, what, ~15 plays for max XP anyways? I'm hoping once he matures, he will be beastly, but we'll see.

Edit: Also, I'm still in the process of raising his strength. Taking it to the 3/1 or 4/1 cap, minimum.

it looks good to me. in fact, i have a near identical looking build plan for HH CBs and SS saved on computer, so i dont think youre doing anything wrong. i would say its probably just that teams arent looking for a HH SS at lower levels... and the few teams that maybe do want one are looking for one with more strength to use as another run defender. later on though, im pretty sure you'll be able to land a job as a SS.

That dot looks pretty cool to me , I think Bort threw a monkey wrench into things with these archetype descriptions and it shows in the TLFP forums. People are looking at the archetype instead of where the SP's are IMO. That dot has more than enough speed/strength/tackling to not be too much of a detriment , they see the lack of agility/vision as a minus i'd think.

I'm no pro at this just my thoughts.

He looks to have enough str and tackle to be played on power, or at least balanced. It's unfortunate that stats factor in to the recruitment so highly because they can be deceptive.

Don't give up though. If you retire early, you never get to experience the upper echelon's of GLB...which I hear are great. I myself have never had a dot over 40 because I'm way too critical on my own builds. Sometimes building a dot that sucks can teach you what not to do, which I'm slowly understanding. It can get expensive boosting though, which is why I have retired players I didn't think could hack it.

Cool, I found a team. Thanks for the critique guys. With time, after I finish off his caps, hopefully my SS will be beastly.
