Let us see how my 2nd go around at this is for the East.
Buffalo Chips (0-4) @ #5 Awesomeville Bearphins (4-0)
Well it would be an understatement for me to say Awesomeville has yet to be tested. Their opponents including this week’s Chip have a combined record of 0-19-1. Awesomeville’s defense has stood tall the first weeks and their offense has done what they do best, rack up the pts. The Chips have fallen on hard times with 3 of their 4 losses being 7 points or less. Luckily for the Chips though this one will not be a heartbreaker.
Bearphins 28 Chips 6
Tampa Bay Krakens (2-2) @ #9 Philadelphia Pigeons (4-0)
The Pigeons and Krakens both surprised this year starting out 2-0. The Pigeons have continued to soar as they sit pretty at 4-0. While their first 3 games were fairly easy they did beat a solid Bonita Beef team. This team has scored 31 + points in 3 games and is led by Strabuck dishing the ball. On other hand, the Krakens have suffered two tough losses. Their offense has disappeared and until they can find it will be difficult to win. Pigeons win a nail biter.
Pigeons 6 Krakens 3
#1 Tecmo All Stars (4-0) @ Ole Miss Rebels (0-3-1)
Well not much to see here. Last week started a 5 week stretch of beat downs for Tecmo. As always they are solid all the way around and should be able to throw up another 0 on the board. Ole Miss is rebuilding and will suffer some tough losses along the way, this one being the worst.
All Stars 56 Rebels 0
FC Hezbollah (3-1) @ #7 New Jersey Blaze (4-0)
The Hezbollah are no gimme. They proved it again last week knocking off the Saints. They have only scored 1 TD in these past two wins, but it has been enough. As FC the Blaze have 1 TD in their past two wins. This should be an extremely good game and I expect this is the week the Blaze fall.
Hezbollah 15 Blaze 12
Bonita Beef Supreme (1-3) @ Ottawa Outbreak (3-0-1)
Good story here; The Outbreak have stormed off 3 straight after an embarrassing tie to Ole Miss. Granted the opponents have not been the best, but a win is a win. The Supreme are good, but never seem to be good enough to win. Big game here because they do not want to go into Awesomeville at 1-4.
Supreme 28 Outbreak 13
10-Yard Fight (0-4) @ New Orleans Night Trippers (3-1)
The Trippers have won 3 straight, but it hasn’t been impressive. FG Wins against the Sabres and Rebels? Come one now; you cannot do that and expect to compete in a league like this. The Fight held Awesomeville to 19, but still remained winless. Luckily for them that will be over soon; Fight win.
Fight 16 Night Trippers 7
Sheffield Sabres (0-4) @ Saint Paul Vulcans (2-2)
Another non-impressive good team. FG win against Rebels? Maybe I am just not giving them enough credit. Never the less the Sabres are not very good and 0-5 they will go. Whether the Vulcans squeak it out and blast them I do not know.
Vulcans 20 Sabres 10
New Jersey FalCoons (0-4) @ Crescent City Saints (1-3)
The Saints have fallen on hard time. 3 heartbreakers in a row. They get to take on the lowly the FalCoons though so they look to bounce back. The FalCoons are a 33 rating, but sure do not play like it. Saints take this one.
Saints 31 FalCoons 7
