My QB is L68, with 6 boosts left. (He'll be 399 days at the end of this season.) I "circle cap" built him - at least, I think that's what you call it. Acknowledging that this probably wasn't the best way to build him, I'm nevertheless looking to maximize his potential with his final 6 boosts, and his final season of training.

My plan was to continue training Throwing for as long as possible. This will get him an additional 3 points in Throwing, plus another from auto level gains, and finally, 4 more points from L72 equipment upgrades - to end at about 131 Throwing.

With 30 more skill points coming from leveling, I was thinking of dumping them all into Vision, to raise Vision by 5, plus an additional 1 point from auto level gains, to end around 85 Vision.

So his Final Build would look something like this (including equipment):

Throwing - 131
Vision - 85
Confidence - 77
Strength - 74
Speed - 58
Agility - 69

Pocket Presence - 8
Tight Spiral - 8
Pump Fake - 9
Field General - 6
Quick Read - 6

Any thoughts?

2 pieces of pass quality aeq and you should be good

He's got 1 piece for pass quality, another for pass distance.

I'm not convinced that pass distance has a sizable effect on performance.

I might be able to do this by converting bonus tokens to skill points. So Strength to 77...15 skill points, or 180 bonus tokens. Thanks.

I can't confirm it either, to be honest. But I was never happy only getting 1/2 the return on stacked %AEQ, and I keep expecting them to do away with stacked %gear all-together. That, and it would cost me too many bonus tokens to switch it at this point, so it looks like I'm stuck with it.

I don't know if I'd go with strength at this point. Another point or two of vision wouldn't hurt. I also wouldn't convert any bonus tokens until plateau, just in case you want to use them for something else.

Yeah, the extra few points in Strength would come strictly from bonus tokens, once he's plateaued. I'd still be getting Vision to 85(+2) and Throwing to 131(+44) with the skill points he'll be getting from 6 remaining boosts.
