1. Sumatra Sea hawks v 4. Syracuse Synergy

The battle of the 'essess', the gayness is thick here. Sumatra put together a good game against GCV but ahead 31-3 decided to start throwing the ball and gave up 5 picks to let the vipers back into the game. Interesting... 'Cuse pulled out the defense stick vs Razorback and I'm pretty excited about it. Yeah sure, they put up 600 yards of offense, who cares. 5 picks from a synergy d that has been stellar this season is expected and they look tough.

This one is a defensive matchup if I've ever seen one. It seems like every time I think Sumatra is going to lose, they end up winning, but I'm going to take 'Cuse 24-21 in OT.

2. Guadalcanal Gunners v 3. Eastern European Alliance

Without the help of 2 pick sixes, Gunners v Pirates was a MUCH closer ball game than 20 pts. No discredit to the Pirates at all (because next season they could be the favorite to win Zeta) but the Gunners didn't impress me. I think they were possibly sandbagging and trying to throw me off for my predictions thread. EEA and Addicts had a great game yesterday and if you haven't had the opportunity to look through it, I suggest it. (told y'all it was gonna be a really good one) I think the Gunners are a great team and it's going to come down to who can avoid turn overs and which team can come up with big defensive stops.

I think the game will be more high scoring than that. I'd take the over
46.5 is like a 10-3 game in lolglb terms

My guess(I'm probably wrong on both)

Syracuse & over 46.5 (Cuse controls the clock and game with the ground n pound)
Gunners & over 84.5 (Can EEA stop the pass without giving up chunks of yardage on the ground? Gunners win it in the 4th)

The scores for evenly matched teams generally look good, and yardage totals usually look realistic, but how the game plays out to get there is filled with WTF moments.

... I'm just glad they weren't pick-six INTs... that arcade outcome has outlived the "fun" factor.

Good seasons to sumutra and EEA, both had high hopes go up in flames today just like ours did two days ago there can only be 1 ..

Every season it's the same damn thing for us.

Honestly, I had nice packages installed, good %'s, all set to auto adjust nicely. And what happens, the plays we made plays on never got called again. The plays where we got stuffed kept getting called.

And such bullshit INT's. I mean seriously, WTF where those interceptions at the end of the first half?

We were lucky enough to come out on the winning end Otega, but I completely agree. Makes me wonder why even game plan and set the AI and adjust Packages at all.
