Ok, so this is pretty fucking ridiculous. Srs post is srs. WTF is going on in OPL this season...

We've got some good matchups here and whichever team promotes this season surely deserves it.

1 Sumatra Sea Hawks vs. 8 Gold Coast Vipers

This game is not what Sumatra thought they were getting themselves into by earning the 1 seed in OPL. This game can go either way and very very easily. GCV hasn't shown us much to gameplan for and I know what GCV can do when the plan.
In a Defensive struggle, GCV takes it 21-20.

4 Syracuse Synergy vs. 5 Razorback Nation

Another game of two very good teams. Jl worked his butt off this season and I'm hoping he didn't show all his cards. Syracuse has had and up and down season, and I think they have a lot left in the tank.
Razorback Nation out thinks themselves in this game, Cuze takes it 45-34

2 Guadalcanal Gunners vs. 7 Asau Pirates
Gunners looked unbeatable early and almost all of it had to do with their passing game. They now know they aren't immune to defeat and Asau has been playing some VERY good dotball recenlty. I don't think Asau has the dots to compete in this game, but I do think they have some great coordinators over that and anything can happen.
Gunners win in a shootout 65-47

3 Eastern European Alliance vs. 6 Addict Nation
This might be the most interesting game of them all and not because I'm biased but mostly because I think these are the best two teams in OPL. Addict Nation has looked VERY good here late in the season and there is a very good chance the winner of this game takes Zeta. I'm REALLY looking forward to watching this game and I suggest all of you get a good eye on it.
No prediction on the score - I'll let somebody else prognosticate this one.

And as always, your opinion doesn't matter and I hate all of you.

This will be a tough match but I think we can win at least one game. Semi-amazing factiod: This will be Sumatra's first home playoff game in PRO in their long history.
Sumatra 35 - Gold Coast 20

4 Syracuse Synergy vs. 5 Razorback Nation
I think Syracuse beats up on an over-worked jlrock and wins this one rather easily. I am rooting for an upset though and will be cheering for Razorback Nation. I don't think Sumatra has ever beaten Syracuse.
Syracuse 42 - Razorback Nation 10

2 Guadalcanal Gunners vs. 7 Asau Pirates
Asau has been quiet on this forum since there loss to Sumatra. Were they playing possum? Were they positioning themselves with a match against the Gunners? I find it hard to believe they wanted this match. If they don't fix their 4th down glitch it will be a long day.

Are these the two best teams in OPL Zeta? They very well could be. When EEA puts effort into a game they are scary good. It's been night and day for Addict Nation. I think EEA wins a close one and the Addicts will wonder what could have been if they had only had the right coordinators in place from the get go.

first time, since i've been around opro, that i have ever thought that literally any team 1-8 could go to wl.

Just hoping to keep it close and have a shot, this one is on me and I will be the one doing the OC work and just will do my best to give the cuse a game.

I won't say that this season has to be for nation determined in the playoffs, but why not go fight it out and see what happens. has worked decently for us this season. Either way has been a fun season.

I wasn't really talking about SCSA. I was more implying that the Gunners, Synergy, Hawks, and Razorbacks might have something to say about that...........and that is not even looking at what is in Alpha.

And just for the record I don't think EEA, Addict Nation, or SCSA will win gold. The sim is too much of a crapshoot these days so I would take the field over those 3 (especially since two play each in round 1).

that's usually not a good thing for when it comes to WL play....but it's still awesome to have competitive games in any league! CPL is the opposite, 4 good teams in each conference, the rest are just garbage.

i think EEA has the strongest chance of competing at WL, of all the OPL teams.
