I'll do a final Naga Rankings after week 16 with a playoff picture and update it as the post season rolls on.
1) Garduas - Wendigo IMO....couple of their tougher regular season games are coming up....and weird shit happens to undefeated teams in the playoffs, they may consider throwing the CoP game just to be 15-1 going into the postseason. I believe that it is confirmed that Bort has programmed an anti 20-0 code. Just sayin....
2 Skyfire 2/3/4 are all pretty = and capable of beating each other..but Skyfire will win out and get the #2 position and they beat Hong Kong...so they get #2. Some recent Scrimmages vs. WL teams shows they aren't ready to take the next step...if somehow they go WL in season 19, 0-16 probably with the level of their roster. Probably need one more season to make that jump anyway...but great showing this season.
3) Hustlers Tough call here, but I give them the nod over CoP because their two losses have come against great teams and they beat CoP. Deangelo Williams is the MVP and I think we all kind of hope Hong Kong Advances out of SEAPL so that Rusty Pickle can win an MVP next season. But if they advance, Garudas stay...so f*ck that. Capable of beating anyone with their talent but their gameplanning...eh
4) CoP 11-1 Since BP took over both sides of the ball including victories over the Monks and Skyfire. Loss to Wolverines shows they need more time in SEA Pro to develop their roster, close victory over Bacalod shows they need a new DC. 4/5 Bracket for them means a 2nd round exit...at best. Will be ready to roll in season 19 to a SEAPL title..this season...4th best.
5 Monks Right in there with the top 4...beat Hong Kong, but lost to CoP, fire and Garudas. So 1-3 vs teams above and sit at #5. Brutal Bracket with CoP (probably) and Garudas....but Monks showed a little life this season beating Hong Kong...but looks like they have alot of players to resign between now and day 40.
6) Portland Dirty Another tough one..give them the nod here because they've only lost to teams in the top five and have scrimmaged the Smurfs a few times and are only losing by 80. They also only lost to the skyfire by 8....team will be fighting for a playoff home game next season.
7) Wolverines Have only lost to teams above them and had a bad interconference draw vs. Brown Cows. Would have been 6...but their scrimmages vs. CRR and Masterminds have been ugly....so right now, they are JUST like wolverines...not really big or intimidating and you can run them over with your car, but occasionally..if you are hunting and drunk...one can kick your ass. Next season my Polish friends...
8)Teabaggers I thought they'd do a little better this season...losses to Wolverines and Penguins show they aren't even a 2nd tier team right now and will make a first round playoff exit, if they even hold off Dragons for that 8th spot. Vs. tough teams just don't score....probably need to take a look at their offense up and down in the offseason and see what's wrong.
9)Pa Dong Team is just hot and cold...has beaten Skyfire, lost to cyclones. Seems to have the talent..but not the desire. May creep up into the 8th spot...but couldn't beat any of the teams above twice in a row....so just another SEA Pro team.
10-16....Red Raider Madness has changed it's name..Sparta Warriors.
