Zeta looks really good again this season. A couple of new faces at the top of the heap but for the most part the whole league is putting it together this season. I'd like to see you guys go out and play some more scrims but for now, we'll take what we can get.
1. Gunners - I don't think anybody can deny that right now Gunners are on the top of the heap in Zeta. Honestly, they haven't beaten anybody worth mentioning except for Razorback. I'm definitely not impressed with their ranked scrims and if those games are any indication of how their season will work out... It could get ugly fast.
2. EEA - After undefeated opl seasons in s 15 and s 17 and subsequent ccg losses in both those seasons (with a brief wl hiatus) EEA losses their first regular season game in a LONG TIME. GG Razorback. That team is for real. Big game today against Alpine will show exactly what we have. A couple of disappointing ranked scrim losses but overall a pretty solid season put together so far. When I finally figure out defense this season, we might be good.
3. Razorback - These guys are one of my favorite teams and has been for a while. With solid wins over cuse and eea and 5 picks against gunners, this team is the 3rd best team in the zeta. An ai fail vs tonga, which should have been a win, and these guys are looking at a chance for a 2 seed. At the end of the season they get Pirates and Seahawks and I think those will be pretty decent games.
4. Cuse - These guys just won't go away. We'll see tomorrow I suppose but these guys are who we thought they were. We'll see. Fighting for a home playoff game for sure though.
5. Sumatra - Good team ran by a great guy with a really annoying offensive coordinator. Squeaked by Tonga but did well against the Nation. I think Sumatra v Pirates at seasons end is going to be a good one.
6. GCV - vipers haven't proven themselves yet but I think they are a good team. They have 3 big games coming up in a row and they could just as easily lose all three as they could win them. They move up or down this list based on the next couple weeks so we'll see what they have.
7. Addict Nation - Whores imo. These guys have a good chance to NOT lose a playoff spot but they control their own destiny. Tough draw with sin city as their cross conference game. That may be the difference this season.
8. Manhattan Gays, Ass Pirates, Tongalicious - These guys are gonna fight tooth and nail for this spot. Berlin has an outside shot but they had better start playing consistent dotball.
The rest of you, enjoy your golf.
