Even if I choose to make a NT, would First Step still be a good bonus SA? I'm a little new to sticking with just Run-Stuffing because I prefer DTs with at least 61 speed to get a little bit of a burst off the line so the pocket isn't expanded after the snap.

I know a lot of people choose Monster Hit here, but wouldn't Big Hit be enough since you'll have to take SPs higher into the tree for D-Line general anyway with a NT? I do realize there is collectively growing doubt into the General SAs, but...

Opinions?

First Step is a great Extra SA with around 70 speed and maxxed JTS

Even for a NT? JTS isn't generally on among the VAs I see NTs having. I usually see Heavyweight, Bullrusher, Power Tackler, Sure Tackler, Helmet Crash, Brick Wall, Workout Warrior, Pocket Crusher, Technique Man, and sometimes even Natural Leader (for those who have 8-10 in D-Line General -- though this is never something I would EVER do... unless morale/stamina changes are made...). I have yet to see a NT, or even just a pass-rush DT, who uses JTS -- though maybe my experience is somehow unique?

I'd say yes. First Step improves agility and acceleration. Speed isn't a major necessity at this position, but anything that increases your initial burst is a boon to the position. Big Hit and many of the other SA's aren't needed if your Vet points are put to good use.

Change Direction is another SA I would recommend eventually.

FS is pretty much the prime extra SA for most DL.

FS is OK, but not what I would use for a run-stuffer NT. If it is a more hybrid or pass rushing NT, go for it. Probably the best SA.

AoI maybe? wrap up tackle? gang tackle perhaps?

Either wrap-up tackle or aura of intimidation would be my choices. I'm gonna try aura on my current NT. I am quite certain wrap-up tkl would have been a better choice, but we have to make some sacrifices to get some experiments done ... FOR GREAT SCIENCE!

You can always replace it for a few bonus tokens or just buy another one too if you want Wrap Up Tkl instead.
