Curious to see how you guys get your TE's to accelerate following a catch. Do I need more Agility, Speed...? Would more Vision help him choose a path quicker?

For example:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=6509862

Build
Strength: 22 Blocking: 19.44
Speed: 28.17 Tackling: 11.36
Agility: 27.36 Throwing: 10
Jumping: 14.57 Catching: 20
Stamina: 24.42 Carrying: 13.7
Vision: 22 Kicking: 8
Confidence: 15.91 Punting: 7

Level 9, attempting a somewhat balanced build. As far as I can tell, with the more interesting players like SS, TE, etc., any physical attribute you develop seems to help (as opposed to a Center, which doesn't necessarily need jumping, etc).

Thoughts?

I have the same question. I jump out of the blocks, run a perfect route. Catch the ball then seem to come to a screeching halt. How do I get him to break out once he's completed the catch?

lots of agility... After strength, blocking, catching and vision that is the most important skill for TE

Alot of the TE routes are the Hook Route. Just be patient. I was banging my head against a wall season 1 and early season 2 for the same reason.

Yea it looks like he's juggling the ball and seeing where's going to run..

Its agility and speed.. for those up and out routes..

He was juggling the ball. Like everyone else said, just keep up agility and try to have it at least 3/4's of your speed.

Maybe he's just so surprised the QB threw it to him, he momentarily forgot what to do with it.
