Right now I have a lv.3 peewee Scrambling QB. He has over 50 speed, over 20 agility, and 20 stamina. I was just wondering if it is capable to have a QB that is a good scrambler and a good passer. Right now he is all scrambling. But through out the season, by he end could he be good at both passing and rushing? Or through a couple of seasons be good at both? Or keep him as a pure scrambler?

It depends on what you're expecting from your QB and how soon you want him to produce. Dual threat QB takes a really long time.

He could be good at both but like the second post said it will take a long time.
Whatever you do dont go back and forth on him. Make him like you would a SPEED HB then add in the throwing later.

I disagree, speed is not a major for scrambling QB's. Going speed first is just about the worst thing you can do as far as long term builds go on a dual threat.

Demm, when you add skill points to your dots there are gold stars (majors) and blue stars (minors). You want to put points into the gold stars first (generally speaking).

At this point I would suggest making him a pure rusher or retiring and starting over next season.

None of you are right

first season, you can go all out on speed, then cap agility and vision
second season cap throwing, then keep pumping agility and vision
on top of this, get a pass quality% EQ and extra SA juke second season

first season, no one will be able to stop the QB rollout runs.
during the second season, your speed won't be as dominating anymore,
and your rushing will lag somewhat as you improve the passing.
by the end of the season, as you start training agility again, it will pick back up,
especially as teams start to fear your pass.

you need a good OC tho to utilize her right.
you won't be a deep bomb guy. you will feast on shorter passes,
and take advantage of one on ones (or wipe open spaces in the zone)
becuz of your running threat. YACs will be available for the backs and receivers.
it definitely helps to be surrounded with the kind of weapons that Tif da Cat is!

IMO it is a mistake to have started training stamina ATP!!!
you won't really need it the first couple of seasons.
its better to be a moire complete weapon as soon as possible.
you can pair up with another QB like most teams use, and stamina won't be an issue.

This is a great strategy if you want to have a low effective level and be pretty much worthless at the higher levels of the game.

this. for a scrambler, you start with agility, maybe bring throwing up to a lower cap (ie 48 or 61), and then vision to like 61, and and then you can pump the bajeebees out of speed (or you could maybe even do this before vision if you dont like vision very much... but i would suggest it for more of a dual threat). but working on speed first is not the way to go. anyone who has played with the builder knows that.

funny then how Tif da Cat passes way way way better then yr QB could ever dream of
and puts yr QBs rushing stats to complete utter shame at the same time!!!

so you can have fun playing w/ yr lol bars,
and dreaming about how one day you will have a decent player.
in the meantime, i'll enjoy winning and owning all the naysayers every two days.

i see you have a scrambler also, sorry i thought you were one of these "duel threats can't work ppl"...

what you are proposing is true, overall you'll have more points if you start with agility and vision w/ their ALGs...
but the speed won't be as good ever... if you want top elite speed, you have to sacrifice a little.

Tif's game is as a runner who gets easy passes cuz she runs so well.
you can also have a scrambler who is a better passer and gets big runs cuz of the threat of that pass.
its a matter of preference. it helps when the OC can recognize players strengths and use the correctly.

as for me, i never pay too much attention to the lol bars.
TBH, i even think attributes are somewhat overrated!
i am mostly concerned with how effective the player is at doing what they need to do to succeed.
i consider the atts, tactics, and how the player is used in the GP all about equal when determining a player's worth.
i have seen many many a player with sweet atts suck balls simply becuz
their tactics weren't set right for their player, or their SAs and VAs were not right for the situations they saw.

Meeeowww!

Calm down there little lady, you are the one who came into the thread and declared everybody else to be wrong. Not paying attention to lolbars is fine but saying that attributes are overrated, that's just crazy talk.

Yes, tactics are important but a player with highers atts/the right tactics is going to be better than a player with low atts/ right tactics.

It's nice that you are giving out advice to those who ask for it but maybe you should preface your posts with "in my opinion". Not "everybody is wrong except me."

Also just out of curiosity, why would you say how bad my QB is compared to yours if you didn't even look to see if I had a QB?

the like 4 extra points of speed you would gain over a build that waited on speed would not be worth the like 12 agility, 7 throwing and a few points of vision that would would be missing out on.

id glady compare the end build of your dot to any dot i can make through the builder.
