1. Jebediah's Oblong Ball Club
The avgbrads are going to be hard to stop with 9 seasons of slow build goodness under their belt. They feature a couple of 140+ speed WR's, 140 speed safeties, and are just hanging around waiting to for the right moment to boost so they can go "lolz u thought that's as good as it gotz? u fail!!" They come from the Gart school of GLB, so look for them to goof around all season and then dominate the playoffs. An unstoppable juggernaut, they'll be CPL's WL representative next season.
2. Queensland Exiles
The highest roster score (until Jebediah boosts), Queensland is traditionally the best defensive coached team in the league. They have a HUGE network including CPL vet redrayder, and owner NickS does a great job of getting everybody together. I don't know this roster so well anymore, but they'll come to play.
3. Providence Radicals
Crap, another slow built team. These guys are really underrated, but I think they'll be good.
Roster is well balanced, coaching is solid. They even have the illustrious flames54
in the GM list! Look to see jdbolick
all over the
forums if they're good this season.
4. North Bay Drift
Consistently, North Bay gets the most out of its talent year after year. I still remember that huge upset
over Montreal in the playoffs a few seasons ago, a true triumph of coaching over talent. They have a nice
network of agents who have brought up a few slow build guys to work in with the existing crew.
A great bunch of guys, these guys will be tough for anybody this season.
5. Moose Jaw Roughriders
consistently outcoached, Moose Jaw relies on talent to win games. Will it be enough
this season? Dimmy Finster doesn't think so.
6. Nebraska Maniac Gorillas
If I remmeber correctly, a merger of Nebraska and KC Gorillas. The same KC that got
cheated out of a big win in the "re-sim" scandal a few seasons back. This is a top
notch group of agents who know how to win. To be honest, their roster is not what it has been,
which is why I do not rate them higher. Then again, they do have a couple of dpride
players on their team and dpride= championships. As dpride himself will tell you "Enjoy demotion. Kiss the ring".
7. Montreal Rulers
Don't know this team, but they do have good depth and a solid roster score.
They are co-owned by rocklee, so they're going to be well coached, and at
the least well-advised.
8. Alaska Milf hunters
Our first great name. Is that team logo targetting Sarah Palin?
Anyway, I've been with this team, they have solid players and an active ownership.
I think they'll make the playoffs as they build for bigger and better things in seasons to come.
9.Barren Landscape
A solid team, but missing a good FS. Love the avatars of the OL
"Meat Wad" and "Block Ness Monster" lol.
10. Houston Vikings
What happened? At one point, I thought this team would
be a slow build beast. They were looking to take over CPL,
right where jebediah's was.
11. Black mount Badgers
Also from AAA, also promoted early. Roster could use a few more players.
Sorry don't know this team real well
12. JetNation Pride
Also from AAA, probably promoted a little early.
Rex Ryan is fat and his entire team are sexual harrassers.
PS Mark Sanchez sucks.
13. TD's and Beer
This team has some depth and level issues.
All I know is they have a nice team logo.
They may have been promoted a season early.
Interesting note: In honor of the team name, they've scheduled ALL their
games for "beer days" instead of "nacho days"!!! Gotta love that!!!!
14. United Dark Raiders
This team will be a good test of whether CPU's are stronger this season.
15. Claremont Cocks
Much like fans of South Carolina, team owners and members love to walk around with hats saying "Cocks" on them. This looks to be a farm team at the moment.
16. Thunder Bay Wolverines
Once proud team called it quits last season. Hope we still see Coachcoughlin
around this season.

Rulers flew under the radar last season and put together a solid season. however the top 5 is going to be very tough to crack - those are the teams i'm figuring will factor into the home playoff game. coming down to which team can best rebalance their offense to the sim this season.
Gorillaz were a young team last season. They will need to take another step this season as they've matured, but unfortunately for them the west is a different gorilla in S18
