OrangeBurt and I have four teams that all looking for players at all positions. Info below...
------------
Our flagship franchise, Burnt Orange, finished this past season 12-4 and made it to the second round of the Competitive Minors Lv 30 #2 playoffs. OrangeBurt and I have over 20 seasons of experience in GLB.
We've acquired three teams (will be four this off-season) in an effort to build an organization that can help guys in every facet of the this game.
> GLB Academy -- which we've owned all season -- literally is tasked as a learning franchise. Every season, we fill ownership, OC, DC, ST, GM positions with anyone in GLB who thinks they'd like to come in and try those things, learn how to do it away from the pressure of higher cap leagues. Agents can test player build ideas there, and so on.
> Brownie Batter, which we just acquired, is an incubator for starting your players, with the goal of moving them up the ladder as high as we can. Some of those players can grow along with the team and stay for as long as they like. Exceptional ones would ideally move up to the parent club, Burnt Orange.
> Rising Brownies, which we just acquired, is that middle rung on the ladder, where the Batter group transitions to, then moves on up to Orange.
We like to win. We're not about tanking games. We want your player to gain XP, your builds to make sense, and for you to get the best bang for your buck, and your time. So we'll go outside and bring in players to plug holes if need be.
We have an awesome network of agents and coordinators at your disposal to ask questions about build and strategy. Guys like TenTwo, on the Burnt Orange club, who is considered one of the top, elite DCs in GLB and now runs a DC school on the forums.
Our OC up there, Sirwin, is rising fast in GLB circles. We have ejfd38, with ownership ties to elite GLB teams, and Chocoburgers, one of the elite special teams gurus.
These are guys you'll see in GLB's main forums all the time.
We all have players spread out at just about every level there is, right up the pros. We look for organizational structure when we pick a team, and we look for agents and coordinators who are among the well-known in GLB.
What we're looking for?
Players, on our upper level teams, need to have custom EQ and boost. With the partial nerfing of slowbuild strategy, it hurts you significantly not to boost your player. Guys who can follow directions: from the simplest of tasks, like making sure your player's build isn't open to all view, to tactics changes or build strategy (advice, only if you want it).
Season 18 and beyond
Beginning Season 18, the OFA will consist of the GLB Academy as the starter team at the Pee Wee Level. From there, we will move players to Level 4 (this team will be bought during the off-season), level 14 with Brownie Batter, Level 26 with Rising Brownies, and then of course the Burnt Orange franchise.
OrangeBurt is going to be putting most of his time into the Burnt Orange team, as well as his own players, so he has put me in charge as the CEO of the lower level teams.
We got these teams only last week, so a complete overhaul will take place within the rosters and front offices. If you are currently on the team to which this particular forum belongs to, you will have a chance to be grandfathered-in to the OFA. You will need to PM me with a list of players (links included) that you would like us to take a look at. Please make sure your build is open to Team Owner/Coordinator, this way only myself and OrangeBurt can see it. If your player has a closed build, he/she will not be considered for a roster spot. With four teams, we won't have time to make sure builds are open.
If you have not built a player but are going to, let me know what position so I have a spot reserved.
If you are going to BUILD a player for the Level 4 team, my advice would be to build him before the end of this season and max-boost right away, but don't put him on a team.
We also welcome any agent to put his name in as a front office / coaching staff member for any of our teams. There is one catch, however:
Because we want to build these players to move up in our own organization, I want some experience at the coaching and coordinating positions for our level 4 team and up. The Academy will still be used as a rookie-level for our front office staff, so if you don't have experience and would like to get some, you might want to put in some time there first. Obviously, the higher the level of the team, the higher the level of experience I would want from the staff. The only exception to this rule is the GM positions, as anyone will be allow to take a GM title. If you would like to be a part of any one of these teams, please PM me to let me know and we'll get everyone together during the off-season.
