Welcome to the new season, we're four games in and a few teams are sticking to their usual places from last year. This is your early season Top 10...

1. N.H. Hounds (4-0) – Coming off a disappointing postseason, the Hounds are coming back with a vengeance, knocking off the Canes and putting themselves early in prime postseason position to have some home playoff games.
2. New Orleans Golden Kangaroos (4-0) – Opponents are a total of 7-9 thus far, and could likely be a lower part of the total schedule come Games 14-16, but you have to win the easy ones to make the hard ones even relevant. Good start.
3. Phoenix Resurrection (4-0) – Face a very difficult Patriots team considering their 0-4 record. This could be far closer than people expect if Omaha comes out swinging. The Resurrection seem to think they won’t be in BBB for very long at this rate.
4. Pittsburgh Soldiers (3-1) – A solid all around team that is going to be tested in their next two games against the Canes and Hounds. They can lose these 2 games and be in the top 10 still, but winning both will show they belong in the top 5 or higher.
5. Raving Mad Dawgs (4-0) – You know that comment about New Orleans opponents? The Mad Dawgs opponents are 5-11. This is the only reason they’re as low as they are, but a few more wins will push them close to #1 as they play Austin and Anchorage next.
6. Miami Canes (3-1) – They still have the best offensive line in the league, but they keep kicking field goals. This team needs to learn to finish in the red zone in order to win the big games at the end of the year, but they should likely be in those games.
7. Las Vegas Legends (4-0) – Another team in the West with opponents of 5-11 so far. Is this a sign of weak opponents or a strong team? We know them from last year, but can they distinguish themselves at the top with the Elves gone?
8. San Marcos Rivermen (3-1) – The Rivermen are not pleasing their ladies as the O has disappeared entirely. That said, when you’re 2-1 in games when you’ve scored less than 10 points, you know the defense is good enough to keep you afloat. For now.
9. Anchorage Maulers (3-1) – Near perfect chemistry could help this team for the early part of the season as opponents strive to play well together. Getting a good start will set up a playoff run, but they are not guaranteed anything as they haven’t faced anyone above them.
10. Austin Lumberjacks (3-1) – Bounced back from loss to Anchorage with a HUGE win over Colorado Springs. Talent is up and is needed in order to do well in the playoffs. The offense is high-powered, defenses will be hard pressed to slow them down.

LMAO I'm such an idiot. These are after 6/18, not 16. I wish I could delete this.

As much as I love my teammates, I think we're overrated. Until we get more consistent QB play we're not a legitimate threat to the top teams.

Ok, our opponenets are 5-11. It's not like we decide the schedules. The west is underrated.

Kangaroos will be looking at a spot among top-4 in Eastern
- we think we got a nice defense and hope to hit the endzone at bit more

From last year I know it is hard to compare east and west
- but I still got "Lumberjacks" as a top-5 in BBB#13

We, New Orleans just knocked #9 off last weeks ranking, shutting them out 0-19, we didn't play all weaker competition. Plus we were forecasted to lose by 9.
Who's next!

Would argue we've not beaten anyone currently above us because we beat those teams that were above us previously :S. Still early season though and a lot of work needed to make the playoffs. Will be glad when we get our game with the MAD DAWGS done and can look forward to a moderately easier 2nd half of the season.

Agree with our QB though, he'll be working on his accuracy in training this week, one particularly bad throw to a wide open WR in the end zone last game almost cost us.

Should've been in the third person. Here, let me help. I'll be Iain Bartholomews Drew Rosenhaus.

"Iain Bartholomew does not think Iain Bartholomew is playing as well as Iain Bartholomew would like. Iain Bartholomew will do whatever it takes to win, be that a more consistent Iain Bartholomew, a stronger Iain Bartholomew, whatever. Iain Bartholomew is committed to Iain Bartholomews team and Iain Bartholomews team mates. Iain Bartholomew will persevere... Hi Iain Bartholomews Mom. Iain Bartholomew OUT!"

EDIT: Hey! I didn't realize you were with the team that just beat my team. In that case, screw you dude. Pfffffffffft!

I like it, quite impartial. Good Job. Of course I also love the fact that we (Hounds) are finally getting some love. I'm not sure I would put us in first but we will take it

Favors the east alot, but what do you expect from the canes mamager

: )

Breakdown Of teams overall rating

WEST Overalls

36 there are 3 teams
33 there are 12 teams
27 there is one

East Overalls

36 There is 1 team
33 There is 10 teams
30 There is five teams.

That probably anwsers why they have a schedule of teams with the record of 5-11 total w vs l

Dukester, your schedule will even out, it's just something I noticed while looking at a few of the teams. When you are 4-0, 4 teams with 4 games already have 4 losses, going .500 at that point makes them 6-10. Just thought it was interesting they were overall further below .500.

Kings, why you gotta hate? LOL

Same as last season, as a few games go by, it'll get better and better based on the number of games and teams working themselves out.

Just b/c the perception is that the west is better doesn't mean the Top team can't be from the East.

Celtics were the best team all year and played in the East and showed when they won the whole damn thing.

I really don't think the overall ratings mean very much at all
