http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1901751 - here is how I'm building mine for comparison. BTW - I'm taking agility up to 87 before spending sp on anything else.

^^^^ knows DT's... Wish minnesota fats never left...

The one thing about DT's is you may or may not get stats, and you may or may not like that... You might find youself bored, but finding a DT that is a high caliber player is a very big relief for team owners. Also if you find a team, people don't really know how to build good DT's, so you have great job security, and you are one of the most important peices to the defenses success. Just know that. A good dt is hard to find, but greatly admired...

NTs seem to get good stats. I would say DT is the more boring position to build from a stats perspective.

But if you actually watch replays and see how many times your DT disrupts the other team's offense, you see the value of a good DT.

I would agree on the lack of stats for a DT, but you can still build a disruptive and productive one, here is mine. level 49

My DT was about the same at that point and as long as you boost from here on out your DT should have a solid build once you hit level 40.

Here is my DT: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1408003

I bet every sack is a 3x revcake highlight reel one. But 99% of the time its not getting blown off the line, absorbing a double so LBs make the tackle etc. Ive gone and will go 80 STR - 80 AGI - 82-3 SPD - 77 TAK. Getting close to the speed goal.

I don't want to be an a-hole, but might not be enough strength when he gets to level 64-72. Definitely not enough agility.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1604560 - he is not very good now. He hasn't rounded out at all yet.

He will get 6.72 more in Strength, agility, and tackling.

That means his base will be 100.8 strength, 94.8 agility. He has 4 equip pts in agility so 98.8. He will have 52 equip pts in strength so 152.8 strength. Tackling will be 64.8.

I have plenty of sp + training left to get vision to 68 cap, and stamina/confidence over the 48 cap, plus put needed pts in shed block and break through.

I was going with a slow build to level 25 on my players so that they could dominate in the lower levels and this will probably keep my player from being elite. But you have to admit that there are only a hand full of elite DTand my guy is more or less a solid back up that I can use at the NT or DT spot based on the teams need.

Is that enough? I am not doubting, I honestly don't know...but I thought you would want it to finish around 70 at least...
