OK So heres how I see Alpha
1) Honolulu Hurricane Wife Carriers
Im putting them at #1 because they dont really have any tough games left. They should win out going 14-2 with the top seed. Personally I thought they were the best Pro team getting Promoted to the w/l this season, and they have proved it.
2) Blue Renegade Wino Smurfs of Funkalicious Labatt
The smurfs snag the 2nd seed because they only have to play D9 to finish off the season. They have already played, Mayan, Kai, Hali, HHWC, QCBC, LOL Sin City. At worst they are looking at finishing 13-3 which should be good enough for the 2nd seed, unless D9 wins out. I had the Smurfs and Osaka just a smidge lower than HHWC coming into the season and I'm very surprise that could land them the 2nd seed.
3) District 9 Prawns
Im putting them ahead of Hali because I think they will beat Hali and they could very well beat the Smurfs. But I think they lose one of those games. They still have some decent game to go this season so that gives them the potential to lose 1-2 games, but that should be good enough for them to get the #3 spot somewhere around 13-3 or 12-4. Going into the season, Them and Hali were the Alpha favorites so its a bit weird seeing 2 new teams ahead of them at this point. But who knows who is trying right now and who isnt.
4) 0Cares
This is prob the first season where the best teams couldnt gameplan for the regular season and still finish as a top 2 team. Hali has been average the past 4 games losing 3 of them. They still have to play Kai, LOL and D9 and if they keep "0 caring" then they could lose a few more. Their offense has been good so far this season and I think despite the "0 cares" motto, they are trying much more than we think, they just arent as good as they think. Cockiness will catch up with them, I see another 1st round playoff exit for them..
5) Mayan Prophecy They have the easiest remaining schedule of the top teams me thinks, but they have shown the quality of sucking alot of ass at times. so maybe they lose one. They have a Dynamic offense when their QB can get the ball to Grizzle and Co. but in their losses he has looked more like Brady Quinn and less like the other Brady. Not to mention their AAA defense has been holding them back eve when they score 80 points, they give up 100..They can beat anyone, but they can easily lose to anyone.
6) Queen City Black Cats
QC steals the 6th spot because of their "meh" remaining schedule. Thy have played some of the best teams very tough, even an upset here or their, but then they play like shit vs crap teams like CSSI, Everything below the 5th seed is a guess. THe should be able to win a majority of their remaining games. I havent been really impressed with QCBC, but I wasnt last season. but some how they keep sticking around. They arent extremely good at anything, just good enough at alot of stuff I guess
7) Kai
Been a hue disappointment after last season. Have struggled on offense in games and on defense is a few games. Been some Coordinator shuffles but I think they miss ITS who is traveling I hear. I expect them to put it together sooner than later and with only D9 and Hali left for them, they should have plenty of practice weeks to get ready for the playoffs. But If they win SLAP nest season I wouldnt be surprised, it may be too little too late for them.
8) Nashville Hound
Jesus, what a clusterfuck for the final playoff spot in Alpha, their are like 5 teams that could all have a chance at it. I picked Nashville because I see them losing to The Smurfs, HHWC, and Mayan, but if they win every other game that Should get them the 8th seed. This team confuses me. They have an amazing EFF level and from what I hear they have some great builds, but wtf are they doing with them. either EFF level are skewed and overrated or their OC and DC belong in pee wee. their is no reason for a team this talented to barely sneak in the playoffs in lolalpha...
