1.Oklahoma City Spartans 4-0-0
Last week: 1 High: 1 Low:1
The Spartans beating the crosstown Outlaws actually had better odds than the sun coming up this morning. Next game they face Little Haiti that has been on a roll since a season opening loss. May be a rare challenge for this dominant Spartan squad.

2. Los Angeles Reign 4-0-0
Last week: 2 High:2 Low:6
Proved themselves as perhaps the greatest threat to OKC Spartan dominance with a 34-7 drubbing of offensive powerhouse OTR Red Dots. Held them to just 127 total yards while putting up respectable numbers against a decent Red Dot defence. Figured to be the game of the week but it was a blowout from the second quarter on.

3. Fresno Fire 4-0-0
Last week: 3 High:3 Low:7
Matchup against Reno proved to be the real game of the week. Excellent match-up on paper and on the field. Reno actually outgained Fresno but a late fumble deep by Reno deep on their side of the field sealed it. Wild game. They’ll have a great chance of going 5-0 with a puffball game against the Outlaws.

4. Little Haiti Voodoo 3-1-0
Last week: 6 High:4 Low:10
Held back a potent Florida Bulls offense to rattle off their third W in a row. Biggest test of the season next up as they’re the next victim…errr…opponent for the Spartans.

5. Reno Marauders 2-2-0
Last week: 4 High: 2 Low:5
Played a great game against the Fire that, by the box score, they should have won. They’ve got a balanced squad with a fair amount of talent but they need to rebound after two straight losses.

6. South Otto Fragile Porcelain Mice 3-1-0
Last week: 8 High: 6 Low:9
South Otto continues to beat teams and put up a lop-sided score against the Minden Musketeers of 34-3. But don’t be fooled. This game would have been a different story if not for the 5 interceptions thrown by Minden QB Chris Lightning.

7. Over The Rhine Red Dots 2-2-0
Last week:3 High: 3 Low:7
For the second straight week, the offensive dynamo of the OTR has looked flat out..well…flat. The Reign’s defense never let the Red Dot offense get going. The Dots have a marquee offense that just can’t seem to roll with good defences. That shouldn’t be too much of an issue in the next game, however, as they face Minden.

8. San Jose Chupacabra 2-2-0
Last week: 10 High: 8 Low:13
San Jose’s offense finally decided to show up and laid a pounding on the shell shocked Americans. Remo Rankin put up big yards in the air and their defense pitched a shut-out. The ‘Cabra are starting to show a little more game and are set up with a big showdown versus the also improving Bay Area Bastards next week.

9. Florida Bulls 2-2-0
Last week: 7 High: 5 Low:9
Got flat out beat up by Little Haiti. Drill Bit Taylor looked decidedly human, dropping two passes and not doing too much else. Next week’s game against South Otto should be a good one as both of these squads seem poised on the edge of contention.

10 . Bay Area Bastards 2-2-0
Last week: 11 High: 10 Low:12
Blew out the Boston Boogie Monsters and are finally living up to their potential on paper. Their matchup against San Jose will show if they are for real or if they can just beat up on lower tier teams.

11. Colorado Springs Flyers 1-3-0
Last week: 9 High: 3 Low:11
The hard luck Flyers drop their third in a row to doormat Vallonia. Things may be getting desperate in Colorado as starter Rock Thunderarm split even playing time with backup Franz Liebkind. If they want to turn things around, a win next week against Boston is essential.

12. Vallonia BeaverHunters 1-3-0
Last week: 16 High: 12 Low:16
Movin on up!!! Apparently, when I call out a doormat of the league, they turn around and win. Battled and won against a Colorado Springs Flyers team that was considered a playoff contender at the beginning of the year. There’s been internal strife on this team so maybe they’re all finally pulling the same way?

13. Minnesota Americans 1-3-0
Last week: 13 High: 10 Low:13
A team with a solid base but a lot of work to do. Got handled by a tough San Jose defence and surprised by a resurgent offense. Things are about to get worse as they play the LA Reign next.

14. Boston Boogie Monsters 1-3-0
Last week: 12 High: 12 Low:16
Obvious weak spots on this team will hold it back from winning many games this year. If they can hold together their core, maybe they can contend for playoffs next year. Maybe.

15. Minden Musketeers 0-4-0
Last week: 14 High: 14 Low:15
Blown out by South Otto but largely due to 5 interceptions by Chris Lightning. It’s called VISION Chris….check into it.

16. Oklahoma City Outlaws 0-4-0
Last week: 15 High: 8 Low:16
Ok, they DO get points for managing a touchdown against the Spartans but nonetheless, don’t show a lot of signs of improvement. Their mascot covered more ground than their offense did. That being said, they’re the new number 16 so they’re bound to win their next game against…lessee.. Fresno. Errrr…riiiiiiight.

South Otto Ol aint that good. i watched the replay and saw whenever i rushed i beat them most of the time
had my DC allowed me to rush (i dropped back in coverage about 80% of the time) i would have gotten a sack. i got around the OL like every other play i rushed. i think our game plan was bad. had we man up and allow the DL to rush we would have stoppd them.

our def aint that bad. one of our LB has 5 ff already.

With the win over Colorado, i'd actually say 12-14 is about right for Vallonia. But if Colorado is 11, the quality in this league is just disappointing. Especially with the way Vallonia is run. The owners and GMs may not even notice they won until later in the seaosn.

Quality? So far you've played one quality team in the Red Dots, and they blanked you 63-0.

LOL, yes South Otto's 34-3 win was clearly a fluke. I mean really. How could a defense that's given up 3 total TDs all year and held the high powered LA Reign offense to one TD possibly come up with 5 INTs? Must be a fluke. The Mice defense isn't that good.

I may not have been as clear as I could have been. Not saying South Otto's win was a fluke. Saying that the score made the game look more lopsided than the play on the field.

LA does have a top five offense (I was curious and figured it out) and your D held up ok, although added to that one touchdown was 5 field goals.

South Otto has a decent team but I stand by my rating and comments.

Well, two sides to that coin...

Their left tackle doesn't seem to be a real great pass protector and you were able to get by him.

BUT, the QB still made plays and got yardage. Hurries look nice on a stat sheet, but don;t give you any yards.
