Western Conference
Houston Vikings vs. Queensland Exiles
GoTW honoroable mention here. Two teams tied for 2nd aren't the game of the week, Strom are you crazy? I love this matchup, but I think there's another playoff game that will be even closer. Houston and Queensland are both on 5 game winning streaks, and tied for second in the West. Their only losses this season are to the Eastern Conference's Village Dogs (7-49) and Hub City Hustlers (37-55). Queensland made mince meat of the Widow Makers, but Houston let the Cocks in a little too close for comfort. From the most recent game, I feel Houston's gonna have to work hard to beat the former World Leaguers, but this one will be close
Prince Rupert Drunken Donkeys vs. Claremont Cocks
Who will win the epic battle of Ass vs. Cock?
Claremont has played well against the other low leveled teams, but it's their game against 5-1 Houston that catches my attention. Either Houston is overrated, or the Cocks are bigger than we all think they are. Did I say bigger? I meant better. The Donkeys just beat the Rams, but that was a battle of the winless, so I'd say watch for the Cocks to keep the asses from another win and keep them from streaking.
Widow Makers vs. North Bay Drift
The North Bay Dicks' record does not give them the credit they are due. They've had a very tough schedule, and had to play the former World League Bloodweiser in the cross conference game. Widow Makers were on a role before being romped by Queensland. I've seen first hand what North Bay can do, though, and give them a nod. Don't expect Widow to just role over, if they can pull off the upset expect some stromy weather.
Windsor Wildcats vs. Providence Radicals
Windsor hasn't done anything all season and just lost 103-0
don't gut yet Providence, this one will end your three game skid
Nebraska Maniac Gorillas vs. St. John's Salty Dogs
I can't get over how the Gorillas seem to be sprialing out of control. As far as I remember, they were playoff candidates a few seasons in a row, but after losing to Nunavut, my faith in them is shattered. Maybe they'll be back next season, but the Salty Dogs could win this by 60+
Windsor Flying Walruses vs. Montreal Rulers
Two playoff contenders face off here. Windsor's dropped 4 straight to some teams that all at one point thought they'd be fighting for a home playoff game, including a 62 point loss to Jebediah last week. Montreal has lost to two of those teams, but beat 2 of them as well. Looks to me like Rulers want that top 4 spot just a little more than the others.
Thunder Bay Wolverines vs. Jebediah's Oblong Ball Club ***West Game of the Week***
Thunder Bay pulled off the big win against Providence, proving once again they are in the hunt for a championship. After losing to Queensland by 6, and North Bay by 18, they beat Providence handily. Jeb's has big losses to the undefeated Musketeers and Salty Dogs, but have won close games against Providnence, and North bay, and also beat Montreal by a solid margin. This one is too close for rme to call. I'll admit defeat and expect my record to slip after this one, I'm calling it a tie.
Nunavut Matters vs. Kansas City Rams
Nunavut just won there last one against Nebraska. KC shouldn't be a problem
Eastern Conference
Sacramento Vikings vs. Prince Edward Island Mi'kmaqs
Sacramento was shut out in two of their last 3 games, and quickly dropped from 2-0 to 3-3. Prince Edward's defense seems to be slipping a bit as they allowed an under-leveled Medicine hat put up 27 on them. This game will be closer than it should be, but I think PEIM will take an early lead, and barely hold on to keep it
Hub City Hustlers vs. Puvirnituq Musketeers ***East Game of the Week***
Undefeated Musketeers vs. the future top 5 in GLB HCH. Hub City's only loss is to the top ranked, undefeated Village Dogs in a close 20 point loss. Both of these teams anticipate a home playoff game. I think the Hustler's have got heart, and can knock the storm and the Musketeers off their high horse.
Leaders Gaulois vs. Niagara Maulers
Leaders still hasn't done anything to make a game close. Watch Maulers to massacre Leaders.
Cobden Muskrats vs. Bloodweiser Bugle All Stars
Sorry Cobden, you know I love you but Blood is boiling right now, I don't see them stopping until week 13 vs. Village Dogs
Hudson Bay Horrors vs. Kashyyyk Wookiees
Kashyyyk has been on a role this season! They missed out on the playoffs last season and aren't about to let that happen again. Hudson however just played Village to a 2-possession game. That's pretty damn impressive. Good luck Wookies, but I don't think this is your week.
The Bastard Sons of Doug Flutie vs. Space Dockers
Bastarsd only lost by 4 to Kashyyyk. They need this one for a chance at playoffs.
Never thought I'd write that about Flutie, but they're getting it done!
Village Dogs vs. Medicine Hat Witch Doctors
Won't be close. MHWD needs another season to develop, Village wants WL.
Danzig Raytheon vs. Paradise Cheeseburgers
Free tacos for everyone if Danzig wins by 100
