that's kinda depressing that the top CPL team is #41! what's happening?!?!?!

Theoretically the 32 in WL should be better than all Pro-League teams, meaning 41 puts you in the top 10 PL teams.

18 WL teams ranked in top 41, so Queensland is 23rd best Pro team

Hmmm....How do you get in the WL by being the 120-207th best team? That doesn't make any sense.

the top four teams are definitely underrated at the moment in the rankings

At least you can see how well WL is working. And to think it was almost replaced by a silly tournament...

CPL & USAPL have had the most WL teams over the course of its existence, so it's definitely fair to say that has weakened both conferences. USAPL was pretty bad last season.

having just rolled a 6-0 USAPL with our 3-3 EEPL team in a tourney tonight ... id say they are still bad.

USAPL is top heavy, just a revolving door into WL, the league itself is a joke. Chicago and Midwest will all make solid season 18 WL teams.

Unfortunately, CPL has been a revolving door OUT of WL (3/4 flops lately, soon to be 4/6), and no potential promotions are that promising this season either.

But there are a few teams that are very talented here, just may need another season or so to come to complete fruition. CPL will be producing some noise makers soon enough.

Edit: And I am unsure of the 3/4 flops, besides the 2 that dropped down after last season, who else was a flop?

Here's a look at the sixteen teams who've been promoted to the World League from CPL.

Season 16: Monowi Wowi, Charlesburgh-Scranton Iron Invaders
Season 15: Bloodweiser Bugle All Stars, Queensland Exiles
Season 14: Moose Jaw Roughriders, October Wildfire
Season 13: Queen City Black Cats, Surrey Fighting Stanleys
Season 12: Kansas City Rams, Providence Radicals
Season 11: Manitoba Matadors, Durham Ice Odyssey
Season 10: Marblehead Longhorns, North Delta Huskies, Drygerian Hoblosion, Drinkin Hellraisers (Inaugural Class)

Bloodweiser (16), Queensland (16), October (15), Surrey (14), Manitoba (12) and Durham (12) each lasted only one season...not to suggest that any of the above were "flops."

Moose Jaw (15-17) is in their third season, Queen City (14-17) is in their fourth, and the Haliapathy Expl0cares (11-17) is in their seventh...with two trophies in hand.

What is interesting is that no CPL team has been demoted from World League to Pro then made the leap back...though either or both the All Stars and/or Exiles could be the first to return later this season.

Ok thanks, Octo's post makes much more sense now, I just had forgotten about the other teams who had been "1 and Done."

As far as not coming down and making it back, we will eventually be back there...

mmm if Bloodweiser goes this season and craw33 gets to boost all his S8 players 2 more times before entering WL I think we would rep CPL just fine thank you.

Bloodweiser were a flop.

Regarding Village Dogs, they could be good enough next year but going up there minus ur lvl 72s across the board is risky imo
