Okay, the draft will have no level tiers, so all players are open on the market. At least for this season. When we draft, I will have a big list of all the available players. Then the team owner or "drafter" will pick a player, then I will take their name off of the list. The whole signing of the player to the team is basically the honor system. And if they do not sign then PM me and I will make a list of the user on a sub forum and make sure that they can no longer enter in the draft.
Now, the draft will be after all teams are handed out, to decrease confusion between players and teams. So you might see the draft the day after teams are handed or a few days after. I will start up a website soon and get this going as fast as I can. This will be a hassle at first but will ease after some time.
Trades: You are allowed to trade up with your pick. Teams will trade by picks. However, if you can work out a deal by team cash, feel free to do so. But keep in mind, to GLB it has to be a fair or reasonable trade. And I will have a recent trades thread where you MUST post to let me know to edit your spots! If you are making an In-Draft trade, you may offer a player you drafted.
Drafting: When you enter your team, you are allowed to have someone draft for you, like a close friend, co-owner, recruiter etc. However, when you do this, for proof, the user must be a GM on your team, OR, you can PM me and I will make note of it. The round amount is unknown at this point.
Entering a Player: When you enter a player, you must make a note of how much salary you desire, nothing ridiculous though. However, the owner does not have to comply to it. It's just showing what kind of person you are. An expensive asshole, or a cheap player. Now, your build must be open. If it is not, then there will be a note by your name saying that your build is not open. And you will be most likely, skipped or undrafted.
Entering a Team: When you enter a team, you must enter a player as well. This player must be your own. You are not allowed to enter a player from your team. Your pick number will be assessed by when you entered. First come, first serve. Or unless, I find a way to sort it randomly.
The Draft: The draft time is Eastern. So keep that in mind. I am guessing to make the time around 9-10, giving the West time to get back from work, or spend their day. I hope to make it a Wednesday or a weekend day.
