Regarding this thread, I wish I could say I have a super secret guaranteed winning formula that requires us to boost in the pre-season. Sadly, I can't say that. In all honesty, I either had a major brain freeze or I am an idiot. Either way the boosting of my players was not planned nor intended. I think I may have clicked on the "boost all" button, I'm not sure. I don't even remember doing it, hence my brain freeze theory.
Since I have a huge amount of the players on my team, it was suggested to the rest of my agents to boost as well to make it a 100% boost effort. The feeling was, since a mistake was made that will likely hurt us at seasons end, we may as well go all out to ensure success during the first half of the season. Current goals now are, stay in Gold, qualify for play-offs and hopefully be able to compete in play-offs, despite the lost level we'll suffer by seasons end. I had planned and will be actice all season, so this was not some auto-pilot idea.
Trust me, no one feels like a bigger dumbass than me over this snafu, but it's done and can't be changed. My apologies to the League.
Of course, everyone else could boost as well to make things all equal again?
