Yeah, and this is a rebuilding season for Bonn, first season not in WL since inception of WL....all that average level 72 means is that most of the team won't get ANY boosts, so not an advantage, as what you see is what you get.....we'll see what the levels look like after boosts...

...and remember, Bonn could not beat half the teams in WL last season and got sent down, so there must be some chinks in the armor....finding it will be the difficulty for the rest of the teams.....

Theres no chinks, they were 9-7 and lost by 3 to a team that played in the wl title game, and they beat the shit out of teams towards seasons end

Yeah no shit. Its bullshit a 9-7 wl team who is about to peak who has never demoted is in a pro league. This league is pretty tight except for those guys, not even sure why anyone would sign their dot to that team to play in WE and win every game 150-0

Well, truth be told Warsaw looks nasty as well. Alpha got both WL teams this season, I think we might actually take the Cup! Eh, what can ya do. It's been a while since I've seen Bonn, will be good to see just how much Tulsa needs to improve if we want to get to WL and stay there.

Bonn being demoted really speaks to the quality of the teams being sent up to WL. If you want to compete in WL you better be able to compete with the teams being sent down from WL. With the extended plateau, those teams in WL are not going to have to rebuild as often, and likely will be able to piece together enough upgrades to continue to get stronger.

Bonn may be better, but it is definitely a rebuilding season as we replaced about 20-25 players, mostly with younger players. We'll have to see how things go, but we're also going to be breaking in new OC/DC and facing all new competition, not knowing how the new players will mesh with the old players in a new system.....

I still think that with boosts, most teams will close the distance between themselves and Bonn...and all the pressure will be on Bonn to produce as a favorite, everyone will be putting forward their promotions against Bonn, so there will likely be some upsets and the road will be a tough place for Bonn to play.....

We'd still be in the WL if we had the option tbh, it's just how the Pro/WL divide works.

a 9 to 12 seeded team demoted from the WL will wreck pretty much any average Pro team out there.

See: Monmouth demoting, then walking over USPRO like it ain't no thang, then demoting again

The competition gap is pretty fucking huge.

Yep....I think the extended plateau will help a little with that....there will be more players to go around, and in a couple seasons, as the younger teams mature, they will be able to compete head to head with teams that previously had too much in the way of VAs to allow competition...

This first season, might not be too much difference, but by seasons 18/19, there will be a lot more competition among teams....
