which one is more important and specifically for a speedster

Confidence. Speedster = lower strength. And low strength receivers get into moral spirals since they block like little girls.
Vision = the worst.
Vision = the worst.

well i only say vision, in that i think it should be higher than confidence for a speedster (you dont need much vision in order to adjust to a long pass... but having 60ish vision is a good thing to aim for, imo. and it will help catch deflections (i think, haha)
confidence should be in the mid 50's imo, and having HoC or HtH would be a good idea.

Well, confidence might be slightly more important with the new morale system.
I.) Player's confidence - the higher it is the easier it should be to gain morale and the harder it should be to lose morale. Low confidence makes it harder to gain morale and easier to lose it.

Need a lot of vision to make any difference in your completion %.
After making a high vision receiver myself I'd advise that it is not worth the investment.
That said, confidence isn't very important either, so it's hard to compare something that isn't that good to something that requires an inefficient investment to make a difference.
Vision at 35-45 throughout your entire career will probably suffice
Confidence will require increasing amounts as you level and I'd leave it off somewhere around the first cap by career finality
So, I'd say vision is more important at first, and confidence overtakes it somewhere near the end of your career, probably season 7 or 8

Ive got 67 vision on my WR and it was an effin mistake. I was under the assumption it would help creative route running. Not true.

It helps you pull off fakes, but it's mostly useless except in the catching score

I wouldn't take either above 50 with SP at the moment, but I'd want more confidence than vision.
Confidence is actually (imo) somewhat underrated for WRs, because they lose ton of morale from getting revcaked on running plays.

I'm planning on singlecapping both once I finish with speed agility catching on my WR

You can train a WR to a strength level where rev pancakes dont happen...doesnt take much.

vision has a relatively negligible impact on fakes from what i've noticed
