I would put my guess in that you havent done anything to speed. It is a minor attrib after all..

New Cs ALGs (auto level gains) are half of what old Cs ALGs were. So basically the old Cs are throwing the bell curve off. I would not worry about it.

This. Even if you build a new C perfectly, they will still be behind the old Cs in the database which had outrageously good ALGs.

lvl 22/21 C, 419 SP in build: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1978612
lvl 22/24 OT, 417 SP in build: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2003955

Just carry on doing what you're doing. But train/cap confidence and vision soon! They are majors after all.

I thought you were supposed to cap agi to 73/77 before you go with confidence and vision.

I just got blocking to the 77 cap and have been focusing on training agi. I had planned on bringing agi 3/4 cap before throwing SP in con and vis. Should I just get agi to the 1st cap and then switch over to con and vis since agi is already at 42?

BTW I've been 4 training agi, vis, con, and sta since the change in training system. Should I continue to do this with my OL?

Thanks for all of the insight.

You might as well.

Train con/vis up to 33 minimum before capping them. It's worth having agility much higher eventually, but at low levels it is better to get the gains in conf/vis in the 2:1, or 3:1 range.

I would say that your problem is stamina and confidence. Train them and that should catch you up. Stamina first.

I have a whole OL. Should I go sta/con before agi for all of them? I guess the LOT should probably have agi brought up first.

The pass blocker archetype, take agility up way high first.

Generally, if you focus on the majors first, taking them up to the caps you eventually want them at, then your player will be better in the long run.

I disagree. I think AGI plays a much greater role in Breaking Blocks rather than Holding Blocks. LOT MAYBE get Agility up first but you will never ever want to train AGI up to 80 and leave STR/BLOCK until you reach that goal. Its just unrealistic and Id never pass that info on. Strength to 80, then Blocking to 80, then AGI to 77, speed 68, then conf/vis for any OL besides LOT. Wth LOT id say same order just stop at 77 and of course speed to 77.

For a great long-term build, that's correct. Hell, I would push agility to 80 or higher.

People above are ignoring this point (I put a little extra in brackets). This is one of the key points to player building.

*sighs*

Mandyross was referring to taking AGI up before sta/con, not blo/str.

I think everybody knows blo/str first, but the manual on the sticky says you should take AGI up 3rd even though it is no longer (or maybe never was) a major. It's a bit confusing - is that manual outdated? (What you should know BEFORE building OL)

With the new morale effects it looks like Confidence will be too important to delay. I've seen a lot of OL go sad-faced and blue last season. Can only imagine what's going to happen with the more intense morale effects on low Confidence OL.

Ya, I've been 4 training confidence with sta agi and vis. I am trying to keep con at my level. (eg at lvl 30 I'll have con at 30). I hope this is enough.

It seems like they are trying to make a more balanced build more important.
