Currently has 19% break block, and has another +3 AGI piece that I can utilize at some point...for Wall, Breakthrough, Tunnel Vision or more break block%.

This DE is pretty successful as a pass rusher.

I intend to take FS and Shed Block to 10 (maybe 11) by the end of the build, but I am unsure what else to do with this...more Confidence? Tackling? Stamina? Vision (will cap to 61 at least) SAs?

This used to be a speed DE but switched to strength/agi this season....I will rearrange VAs to better utilize that going forward.

Is it allowed for testers to ask advice on builds.

I feel under qualified to even give an opinion on this one, but I'd say up vision to 73.

Ew, so that's the type of DE my OT is going up against.

I would def. not bring vision to 73....

I would bring your Tackling up and try and cause fumbles with those sacks. I did it the past 2 seasons and it helped tremendously for S16.

I created way more Fumbles than ever before.

How has your energy / morale looked after competitive games? Base your Stam / Conf on that and maybe bring Confidence up to 55ish.

Also might want to look into Technique Man with all that Agi. and maybe some Heavyweight. I've seen it work fairly well.

Excellent build Taut, similar to mine, I just went with 90 Str / 105 Sp / 105 Agi instead....I might have to try and switch to 90 Speed / 105 Agi / 105 Str and see how that works this season.

I'm a little surprised at how many folks are advocating tackling. Oh how the GLB winds have changed...lol.

Would have to agree with tackling as well. My DE misses way more tackles than I thought he would with 65 tackling... and I have noticed players with builds similar to mine but with more tackling getting to the QB a lot more than mine.

Why not Change Direction/Tunnel Vision again? I agree that tackling to 68 might be good, but vision is meh for DEs.

yeah, i find vision on both sides of the line isn't what it once was.

CD and TV are decent....might do those.

I have quite a few DEs and this is the only one of his generation with tackling below 70....so I will probably keep it that way and see what happens.

I am kind of liking the thought of Break Through actually....and probably 68+ vision. But my mind could easily change

(can't help but think back to the days when MPHD probably had the highest vision and tackling scores of any defense in the game across the board...my D-line averaged 80+ vision and the secondary was quite a bit higher of course....and my CBs had 68 tackling while everyone else on the defense was 75-85...lol)

I like you

1) I have built about 25 DEs of various sorts and had a top 4 WL team for several seasons and spent time of the test server...and I still am interested in the perspective and reasoning of other good agents.

2) If seeing the build gives folks some idea of the fundamentals of building a good DE, that's good for the game.

3) I am indeed that "&^%$".
