Thought I would start a thread about the upcoming playoffs.

First round Match ups.

1. Lunch Box vs. 8. 101st Airborne (maybe).
Lunch Box will have to wait for the dust to settle to see who they will play. 3 teams in the running for that last playoff spot. 101st holds their destiny in their own hands as they play against one of the other teams in the running. If 101 loses, Then it will be a 3 way tie between: 101st, Long Island Knights PW, and Mike Tyson's Pet Tiger.

4. Springfield Test Dummies vs. 5. Sons Of Anarchy.
STD just played SoA here in week 15 with STD edging out SoA. Going to be a great re-match I'm sure.

2. Loretto Panthers vs. 7. East Texas Midnight Riders
Dont like to talk about my own match ups. I will end up jynx'ing my self.

3. Boston GoatWarriors vs. 6. Birmingham Balrogs
Their regular season game was not that close. Can the Balrogs close the gap?

Loretto has earned the #2 spot, so hopefully we can throw a wrench in things... if not, GL in the playoffs

I don't understand how that works.

101st beat us before so we are 0 - 1 vs them. We beat MTPT so we are 1 - 0 vs them. MTPT beat 101st so they are 1 - 0 vs them.

The rankings show
LIKPW (lost to 101st beat MTPT)
101st (lost to MTPT beat LIK)
MTPT (lost to LIKPW beat 101st)

Do we win because we beat the team that beat the team that beat us? Why is mike tyson who beat 101st in 10th place instead of 9th?

I think it goes to points allowed and/or points scored as a tie breaker.

GL to all the playoff teams and thanks for the write up, robbeck.

No disrespect to any of the other teams that beat us, but Loretto was the last team I wanted to face again. SOA held us scoreless, but watching the game against Loretto was truly demoralizing.

That being said, I will do my best to knock that train off its tracks and get to round two!

Midnight Riders will ride again! It just might be next season. ha
