Not bad... but switch tackling and Strength, the rest is really good.

I wouldn't put all the eq points into speed if I wanted him to play MLB. I also wouldn't avoid shed blocks, especially if I was going for 80 strength natural.

how would you like to see his EQ split?

3-8 points in agility, maybe a few points in either strength or tackling. I'd certainly experiment if possible.

You get away with right at 100 speed for a MLB. Your main responsibilities will happen right in front of you, so you could technically survive with 80 something speed. The more speed you have, however, will help in pass coverage and the rare times a MLB actually can make a play on a pitch.

I would move equipment around where you'll be:

90 strength
100 speed
90 Tackling
90 agility

I'm trying something close with my MLB, but I didn't get no where close to that good of a start.

That's more of a situational ILB build. He wouldnt play against spd RBs.

I agree with people saying to bring Agility up. A linebacker gets caught on blocks a lot. It's good to have more Agility, not only to shed the blocks, but to get back up to full steam when you want to make a hit. It also helps you make cleaner hits, to help force fumbles easier. You should have like 110 speed and 100ish agility.

Not really, He will torch a speed guy from tackle to tackle, but he will sacrifice on help on pitches, but in my experience MLB don't make plays on pitches all too often no matter how fast they are. Too much traffic builds up between him and the ball carrier.

You know a way to play him only against the run or does your team only play zone?

Look, if you want to make an average LB that is average against the run and average against the pass, go for it. Most every LB is speed made and if you want to get lost in the shuffle, go for it. The thing is, your elite RB right now have 100+ strength if not 120+ strength and if you think a MLB is fine with 60 to 70 strength, going up against a RB with 120 strength, by all means make that roll. Not only that, but you'll be going against either a center, guard or FB with over 120 strength.

I ask you this, look at the top running backs in the WL and find the first RB that has less than 100 broken tackles. I'll save you the time, there is only 2 in the top ten. Then look at one game by any of those 100 BT backs and see how many outside the tackle runs they have. There is a trend, and a way to stop it.

You posted the same thing in a previous thread llok and I think you're misinterpreting a few things. All b/c the WL hb's have a bunch of broken tackles doesn't mean they have high strength. A mass majority of those guys have high spin which counts as a broken tackle. Most HB's anymore have 120+ speed and in the WL they can have 130+ speed (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=787606) I can assure you the 100+ broken tackles are not from the HB having 100+ strength.

For a MLB I wouldn't have any less than 110 speed depending on if you're used in coverage at all. Agility at 80+ is also a must. For a hard hitter I would roll with 110 speed 87 agility 91 strength 84 tackling.
