Ranking #1 gave us this:

1. New Brunswick Scarlet Knights(2-0)-Dominated a very strong New York Strikers team. Currently has OUT GAINED! their opponents 835 to 324.

2. Rapid City Rushmores(2-0)- Just like last season, dominating on the defensive side of the ball. UNLIKE last season, also very dominate with their offense.

3. Michigan Rage(2-0)- Close call between them and Lima for the #3 spot, but ultimately chemistry settled it. Showed they can play on both sides of the ball beating one opponents with offense, and another with dominate defense.

4. Lima Lemurs(2-0)- Still getting no respect. Punished an up and coming USMC team, and just escaped a strong Caprica team.

5. New York Strikers(1-1)- Yes they have a loss, but they lost to the best team in the league. This is a very strong team. Watch out!

6. Miami Makos(2-0)- Beat the Detroit Outlaws team which came down from the A league. Havent really had a close call yet, but still has a lot to prove--pretty weak schedule thus far.

7. Las Colinas Sooners(2-0)- Undefeated so far this season, but like the Makos, still have a lot to prove. They've benefited from a rather easy schedule.

8.Scranton Wilkes-Barre Menzingers(2-0)- On the rise team with wins agaisnt two average-strong teams.

I will only be doing the top 8 teams.

Honorable Mention: DVDTalk Otters (2-0)

So what's the update?

Here's my take. I'd did the top 8, and then listed 9-20

1. New Brunswick Scarlet Knights (3-0) - Do I need to really say anything. Favorite's to win title.

2. Lima Lemurs (3-0) - Played great so far this year. Top challenger for rthe title from the West.

3. Rapid City Rushmores (3-0) - Dominating on the defensive and things are clicking on offense. Would be #2, but Lima edges them out with their win.

4. NY Strikers (2-1) - Only lose is to top team. Very solid on both sides, only real problem with them is chemistry.

5. Miami Makos(3-0) - Very good start to the season. Tougher opponent next week in the Wolves. The first really test for them won't be until week 7 against NBSK.

6. Scranton Wilkes-Barre Menzingers (3-0) - Great start to the season after being a below average team last year. Played an average schedule so far, next 3 weeks (Salem, Strikers, Rage) will prove what this team is made of.

7. Michigan Rage (2-1)- Strong team, just not really producing. Although their only lose is to NBSK, they only beat Gulf State by 6. Their offense could really use a stand out QB to feed uber WR Ball.

8. San Diego Silver Shock (2-1) - Just like their great cheerleaders, this team is producing on and off the field. Only loss is to "them." Once they get their chemistry up, look out.

9. Akron Browns
10. DVDTalk Otters
11. Midwest Mayhem
12. Las Colinas Sooners
13. Atlanta Wolves
14. Miami Hammerheads
15. Chicago Maroons
16. Anchorage Wolves
17. Salem Cyber Hawkes
18. Caprica Buccaneers
19. New Hampshire Hustlers
20. Sioux Falls Storm

I would say that the menzingers have played more than an average schedule. Miami Hammerheads and Vice City Mambas are playoff contenders.

No disagreement here. They were both right on the edge of the playoffs last season, and the Menzingers have really taken it to people. I don't disagree with the placement, as I think we definitely need to see how they do vs. NY and Michigan to get a real feel for them and where they're likely to end up this season.

Looking forward to the next few games as things start to take shape.
