Aye, his boosts are going to 68 cap it next season.

Looks similar to mine first LB at the same age, just less spd/agi and more vis/sta/jum

No Sa's +1...SA's for LB's are a mistake IMO (for the most part)


He's a 8/10...his tackling is good, his strength is lacking....I respect the effort you've put into trying to tackling, but may be overkill..I think you could make 90% of tackles without having 3 sets of VA expenditures + AEQ into it. I think just some more strength would help more then all of those stopgaps to help him tackle, you wouldn't need ALL of them with 10 more strength..

Not a whole lot of time spent on tackling, more or less came from discussions on this board, other sought after LBs and DCs. More than open to changing them up, haven't been asked to yet. I took tackling to the 68 cap, then strength, next vision. Once I rolled over tackling to 69, I don't know if ALGs took me up to 71, or I may have trained it one more cycle.

Curious what cap you'd try going for in Strength, 78 cap? I thought about it, but I need to tend to vision/stamina soon. I imagine I'll have some leg room, he's got 8/9 levels of SP to go still + training.

His first piece of AEQ was a Make Tackle piece. I then added a Breakblock/SDC piece, then a SV piece. All 3 from shopping.

yeah..the 77.change cap early would have been nice to gave it ALG up to 80. I think you could have done that instead of capping vision that early, there are a couple of points there that I think might be better in Strength.

With tackling being more important to tackling this season...I just think maybe ALL of the tackling VA's you have going on AND the +% might just be overkill. I think that if you reset 15 VA's..from maybe the 2nd chance tackle thing into something else, you might find that you still aren't missing tackles...

One of my level 61 LBs just for comparison. Much different approach....and I do have other AEQ that I will be using eventually

The Shutdown Coverage is interesting but I imagine it would be alot more effective against TE's/HB's if his Jumping wasn't 22 (Train it?). I agree in the 15 VA needs to go elsewhere because I really don't think the Sure Tackler does a damn thing. Though others may disagree, I never saw a difference in my guys. Perhaps Jackhammer, First Step, or Football Genius? I also think that getting another Superior Vision or Shed Blocks piece instead of the Make Tackle chance may make him more likely to be in the play to make that tackle.

I bet his missed tackles would go down if he was on a better team. Tough to imagine his morale staying too high when the team is getting rocked every day.

It was awfully hard passing up a +5% breakblock/SDC piece when I saw it. It's interesting watching him in coverage sometimes.

Noted on the jumping, I grabbed it as a secondary Att, so I'll be training it here shortly.

I haven't analyzed his missed tackles from this season, but he hasn't has an issue in the past with them, but he also hasn't gone up against Pro Level competition until this season. He's also on STs, so I wouldn't be surprised if he has a couple from that.

Tuba is demoting after this season, so he'll be going somewhere where he's complemented by another LB like him.

How is he in coverage with vision that high? I may devote everything into vision if it's worthwhile.
