I have my lvl 55 FS starting in the Pro's. What is a sufficient amount of STR / TAK? I was thinking 48/48, I know I'll miss some tackles, but my guy is more of a coverage build.
if you only roll with 48/48 you must have Sure Tackler at least. Otherwise 61 is a minimum at the pro level. 68 if you want to see any number of KL PD's. I plan on keeping 48/48 on my similar FS, and just making up the ground with VA's. It's not optimal, but he's pure coverage as well.

LOL @ this guy
Doesn't matter if you're a coverage "guy" or not. You will still be forced to make tackles. The question is, can you make the tackles? With 48/48 in the pros, well thats not gonna cut it. Not even a judgement call
Skeels is right, if you're gonna leave it at 48/48 then u better have some type of help with a VA and your tackling will probably be average at best. Thats great for a coverage guy thought right? LOL

Ha! LOL @ ^^this guy^^
Thanks Packers and Skeels, I am working on getting bot TAK and STR up, I only have TAK @ 48, and STR @ 38 right now. I have been pumping the rest of my attributes first, so now these are what I am focusing on. I was just wonder what the minimum is to be effective.

I would take Tackling to 60 so you can grab DvG . . . I think for a coverage FS 60-68 is a reasonable endgame level for tackling.

60 tackling, 48 strength on wrap up is the bare minimum I would think, but you'd have to have dvg.
And I'd take tackling to 68 before I'd take strength to 60.
You can't get away with being a safety and not being able to tackle. It's one of their primary jobs. That's why building a safety has more to it than building a CB. If you want a 'pure coverage' guy you have to make a CB, because safeties don't have 'pure coverage' responsibilities.

Taking both to the 3:1 cap should be enough. Even if he is coverage, David vs Goliath is a good VA to have too.
