I originally envisioned this guy as a combo back, but I am at a bit of a crossroads right now...

I am about to add a third piece of AEQ which can either be break Tackle% or Fake Chance %.

Obviously I would need to add some faking abilities to utilize the fake chance gear. Note that he has 15 in Scat Back as well.

So...increase my break tackle, or add some fake chance?

I would advice Break Tackle. Not to mention Break Tackle if I am not mistaken will activate your SPIN.

He has 18% break tackle now, and yes Break tackle % does increase Spin success.

So, I could either aim for 30%ish break tackle or 20% break Tackle and 20% fake chance.

I would aim for 20% & 20% myself, at least that is what I am planning with my little HB. Sure it would require adding to some "fake" SAs, but if you have the SPs to do it I think with his attributes he could be p effective both ways. What level is he at now?

I guess it depends how high you want to take the fake SAs. If you take them high enough, I am not sure you will need the fake gear, and could go for more break tackle. Either way, I would add fake SAs to that build. For one, it will help you increase Spin, which is dominate in the current SIM. Also, I think it may actually help you break tackles. My HB has a very similar build to yours (except 7-4-5-8-9 elusive SAs) and breaks many tackles after faking dots (w/o fake gear). I added break tackle gear and slippery this year (and brought strength to 68), and have seen my BTKs go way up. Last season, he would fake dots (w/ 23% fake gear), only to get tackled by them a few ticks later. Now be breaks those same tackles, and I think faking helps break the tackles (and reduces the speed lost breaking the tackle).
