How do I get Interceptions?

you dont. not with a build like that. but youre new, so you dont know how to build a good player yet, and that understandable. i would personally retire him and start over again, focusing on only 1 attribute at a time. this method is called slow building.
as for how to get INTs, vision, jumping, catching (although its been debated how much it really helps...), agility, and sticky hands SA (which you shouldnt touch until about level 50. same goes for the other SAs.)

agreed... confidence is always pretty much the last thing on my list of things to work on, and if i dont get there, well im not gonna cry over it. i can imagine its very much the same thing for safeties... its just isnt important. and if we are talking about INTs exclusively, it doesnt help at all in my experience (coming from someone who has a dot with 120+ career INTs)

The only reason I'd prioritize confidence more for a cb is if his primary role was kr/pr and blitzing.

If you're a safety that's used in the run game it's a bit more important, but otherwise, yes.

Confidence would be the last thing I do too BUT the attribute is also being reworked to assist more than just morale. For now, since lack in Morale CAN negatively affect a player's play, confidence keeps the morale in check. Confidence IS mainly important for Kickers and Quarterbacks but its for all. I think confidence really plays a part in the ball being thrown over your head when you cut off a route(which is a common way to get burnt). Jumping and catching also does play a part in that too don't get me wrong, but confidence can assist that. Most picks come from QB pressure. Alot of those balls are underthrown. I think confidence and catching is the difference in picking the ball and deflecting it. Thats what I've always been told and thats coming from a guy that knows his building. Now, IDK how Bort is gonna change the attribute but its suppose to be coming if its not already here. Haven't heard

The difference in PD and int may be 90% catching and 10% confidence, but if you wanna be a picking machine, then I'd do it, but thats why I'd concentrate on it last because its not really important. I never get it over the first cap

Interceptions have almost nothing to do with catching or confidence.
Vision is the most important factor in terms of attributes, followed by agility, speed, jumping, and strength.
The actual most important factor is your coverage style and coverage cushion.

I know what the important factors are but we are talking about confidence. On a scale to 1-100 (100 meaning "top attribute"), how much does confidence do for a defender intercepting the ball?
