Any idea what is going on here? It's driving me nuts since it happens all the time, every game, with every CB we have. Our DC is stumped and isn't doing much to solve it, so I'm reaching out, but I've never touched the DAI (i'm an OC).

Builds are solid and I don't see this happening to any other peewee CBs in our league. Is it tactics?

Someone with peewee experience...please, for the love of god, help...

Examples:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1250376&pbp_id=5721862
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1250376&pbp_id=5721938
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1250376&pbp_id=5722526
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1250376&pbp_id=5722731 (watch the CBs on the outside not the throw)

I can pull 1000000 examples of this, but these were just a sample from our last game.

I can post builds and tactics if that helps as well... just let me know.

those may be solid builds... but i dont think those builds are going to work in peewee. i cant say ive ever done peewee, but i can imagine that those builds actually round out a little bit. saying that, i would blame it on lack of agility. i would also play off a lot more. i would start at 0 and play around with it form there.

I don't know what is going wrong but it would guess you don't need to be right up on the WR's. I can't remember the name, but one of the best CB builders released his build info and said -72 was the best coverage distance. I would put aggressiveness at 100 too because that only effects the blitz aggressiveness and why wouldn't you go 100 on a blitz? Finally, remember if your goal is to win low level games then you should spread your points, but if you are going for long term builds, which I think you are by your speed, don't worry about it right now. Your builds will be fine in the end.

whoever said that -72 is the best spot on the slider is wrong... it was maybe right for his dots, but the ideal spot on the slider is going to vary between build, competition and even scheme, so its really hard to nail down the ideal spot. for comparison, ive actually had the most luck on my CBs around +60.

and of course the cushion distance that your DC sets in the AI plays a role as well.

and side note, if you remember who said that, tell me. im actually kind of curious as i often talk to and am in association with some of the best CB builders in the game (and i hate to toot my own horn, but myself being one of them.)

what are other teams doing to prevent you from doing these passes?

covering the WRs

we're running the same plays, but we're not getting the same "blow bys" against the coverage we're seeing... that's why i'm convinced it's in either our DAI or tactics.

I couldn't agree more.

My guy has started to blow-up on INT's and PD's going from that high a setting to hovering around zero. He's got 14 picks in the last 20 games. That number only reduces to 10 with Blow-out Adjusted Stats, too.

Again, there is no overall one-setting-fits-all and it takes watching film of your dot and tinkering with the slider to find the right setting for your dot.

it wasn't a avid poster it was a guy with a CB dot on blaze.

Edit: Here we go
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=660394

also worker stop blowing your horn CB's are probably the easiest position in GLB to build. Being one of the best builders is not anything special . Now get out there and make a LB or FS (like taxi driver!?! Jesus what was his speed?)

I do not have experience building a Pee Wee CB, but I think what's happening is your guys jumping forward to cover the distance set by your sliders. I will make the assumption that they are pinned to the left/-100. Then they have trouble switching direction with low Agility and no CD [SA].

Try backing off the slider setting to +50 and see it that helps any. Also, start working on Agility and Vision.

CBs are not the easiest position to build... if they were easy, there wouldnt be so many terribad CB builds out there. every time i check the FA market for CBs to recruit, my eyes bleed. PlfT is a bit better, but overall, it seems that CBs are very hard for the general community to build. if you know what youre doing though, then it not really that hard to build any position.

and i would love to build more dots, but being the poor college student that i am, i dont have a ton money to throw around. 3 dots is pretty much my financial max

and ah, i remember loco... he used to post a lot more than he does now (although im not sure ive ever seen him in LHF's CB forum ). too bad, as he usually knew what he was talking about... GLB needs more posters like that.

again, this. back them off. if they are getting burnt deep, play them further off. thats just a GLB thing in general.
