When good 100 chemistry teams play other good teams in the 70s..... It gets out of hand.... Nothing is more powerful than chemistry in that situation.

I like Gunny and those guys. They are a GREAT team and may have won no prob with even chemistry. That's not the point. 11 picks to zero is the point.

I think something was messed up with chemistry when they made the morale changes the first time this offseason. Even though it supposedly reverted, I think chemistry still got screwed up.

This can't be what we've come to...

What do you guys think? 14 turnovers vs 0 seem reasonable because of that chemistry? If you dare drop below 80 chemistry, you risk losing the turnover battle by 14 and losing by 100 to another good team? How far will this go?

While I agree that chemistry is over powered, I have to say a lot of those picks likely have something to do with their CBs. I'm not sure of what it is, but I am eager to find out.

Kind of noticed their CBs when they picked us off 7 times in a tourney game last season. Turned a pretty good game in to a laugher in the 4Q. And we weren't the only team to get raped by their secondary last season either.

I'm willing to bet it's more on the builds than chem

Yeah probably a build plan they followed (dump all boost SP into catch) and stacked intercept chane % AEQ that makes their secondary what it is.

Hard to make an assumption just based on one team doing well...

Ive seen it since the preseason and this is just BLATANT proof....

Builds may be better... but come on... So Cal is a legit team.... 100+ points better? 11 picks and 3 fumbles for So Cal and ZERO for Gunny.... seriosly?

I would agree here.

Gunny's has amazing CB's. Whatever they have done, they did it last season as well. We threw all over people last season, except Gunny's, who picked us off left and right.

They have great corners, but I agree with the premise ufs. I do think morale is bad without MS. Just too much of a penalty, even when you do the right things.

Its a combination of things. I haven't watched the game, but last season we tried a come from behind AI with tooleys cb and I think he threw 15 picks. My guess is they had some sort of deep passing AI in the game and it caused for them to run too many deep routes and it just snowballed. Wonder how much field general socal's qb has?
