Bort or anyone else, explain something to me.

Here's the game: 96-7 win by DSBM http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=1250552

Here's an HB: 37 plays, 4 carries for 32.5 yards with 3 broken tackles; 11 receptions for 192.5 yards and 3 TD's with 2 drops. That's 15 touches in 37 plays and another 2 targets for 3 TD's.

His morale at the end of the game was 11.

How in the hell does a guy with those numbers have 11 for morale at the end of a game? Seriously???

Morale is mental fatigue. It barely goes up when you do good things, and it slowly drops when you do anything, and it drops faster when something bad happens.

This is based on confidence as a modifier.

It's bullsh is what it is. You show me anyone that has nearly 200 yards receiving over 11 receptions to go with 4 carries for 32 yards and oh yeah, 3 TD's that is down in morale after that. Sorry, but it's garbage, especially since it affects play so much.

You win 96-7, it's a party in the clubhouse, and everyone is celebrating. No one had low morale, especially the guy who is probably holding a game ball.

Oh, and if it's mental fatigue, what did he tire of? Thinking, "Oh crap, here comes another pass that I can take to the house for another TD?" Seriously. He's probably going to be at the top of a lot of categories for league leaders after one game but he has 11 for morale.

I know. I'm pretty sure that I posted the lol in GLB Main about how I caught a TD pass with my TE and then on the next play he went from a Yellow Face to a Blue Face. Maybe he was just mad that we made him block on the point after when he's the one with the first six points.

or he was next to 11 players with aura of int on the point after, and probably got pancaked.

No, it is morale at the start of the play, not the end of the play.

misread, that is terrible then... ;/ is every play morale loss so great it outweighs scoring a touchdown

Bump -- someone needs to seriously take a look at this. Morale has been a problem in PeeWee for a while now, and it doesn't seem to get any better. IMO, if the offense breaks off a long TD play, the whole offense should get like a +20 morale boost. If they have a 7+ minute drive for points -- +20 morale. They need something to balance the way it goes down so quickly.

Morale works like this through all of Pee Wee. I think it is working just fine. Mostly because I've got a good system and if you change something then I will

They did do something. They went and made it worse this season. It was called stage 2 of the energy and morale program.

The counter is to have 25-30 points in stamina and confidence. That way we don't get to put points into speed and agility. We will have running rock come playoffs.

Once the TT's are gone, I don't really see the point except for you guys to keep my spot warm until I get back. :-)

True dat. Every day this game becomes more like the U.S.A. The people who are intelligent, work hard, keep up with society, and pay taxes (that would be the Pee Wee owners who spend tons of cash on flex or all those that didn't vote for Obama) continue to get screwed and abused. I'm waiting for Bort's announcement that each season he's going to take 10% of my remaining flex for a subsidized flex care plan to support delinquent members that haven't logged on in ages or who bounced a PayPal payment.
