West got one...so I figured I'd do the East
1. Tecmo All Stars (2-0) - The All Stars have lived up to expectations so far this season, beating two very good opponents in New Orleans and the Vulcans. The offense has yet to get going, struggling to score, but the defense has been lighs out, posting two straight shutouts.
Next Game: @ Crescent City Saints (1-1) (Game of the Week)
2. Awesomeville Bearphins (2-0) The Bearphins have crushed both of their first two opponents, also posting two straight shutouts. Led by QB Awesome Lee,who is a strong candidate for MVP this season, their offense proves to be dynamic once again. If their D keeps playing this way, watch out.
Next Game vs. (0-2) Sheffield Sabres (Should be another easy way for Awesomeville.)
3. Tampa Bay Krakens (2-0) Tampa Bay has been the surprise thus far two games into the season. Beat a solid opponent week 1 in the Beef Supreme and then had a big upset against the very talented Saints the week after. It hasn't been pretty but the Krakens have found their ways to win. Should be exciting to see if they can keep it up.
Next Game vs. (1-1) FC Hezbollah (Will be another tough test for the Krakens, as these teams look pretty evenly matched.)
4. Crescent City Saints (1-1) Although they took a tough loss last week against the Krakens, you can't deny the talent on this team. That talent will be put up to the test this week against Tecmo, and if they can pull that off, it would really be a statement to the rest of the league.
Next Game vs. (2-0) Tecmo All Stars (Game of the Week)
5. New Jersey Blaze (2-0) Led by QB Johnny Blazee, who is the league leader in passing yard this season, the Blaze have started out fast winning their first two games. Mat Williams is the early league leader in sacks, and the Blaze defense has been very solid.
Next Game vs (1-1) Bonita Beef Supreme ( Should be a very good game, with either team having a great chance to win.)
6. Philadelphia Pigeons (2-0) Another very surprising team. Philly has just done what they are supposed to do, beating two inferior opponents. They are a very balanced team and can beat you in a number of different ways.
Next Game vs. (0-2) Buffalo Chips ( Though the Chips are 0-2 Philly can't afford to sleep on em, another good matchup.)
7. New Orleans Night Trippers (1-1) The Night Trippers proved themselves as a very good team last season. They have a very solid D, slowing down Tecmo week 1 and shutting out their other opponent week 2.
Next Game vs Ole Miss Rebels (0-1-1) (Should be an easy win for NO)
8. Saint Paul Vulcans (0-2) Yes, they are 0-2, but you can't deny some of the talent this team has. Lost a close game week 1 vs the Saints, and held Tecmo to only 26 points in the week after. This team won't be held down for long.
Next Game vs. (0-2) New Jersey Falcoons (Look for the Vulcans to pick up their first win of the season)
Game of the Week 1. 2-0 Tecmo All Stars vs 4. 1-1 Crescent City Saints
