You get 1 point for beating a team. You get 2 points for every team that you beat beat. 3 points for beating a team that beat a team that beat a team. Continue the chain until you get to a winless team. You also lose 1 point for each team that beat you. Lose 2 more points if one of those teams lost, and continue up the chain. Kinda confusing to explain, I'll clarify if anyone has any questions.

1) St. Louis +7
2) Crimson +6
3) Columbus +4
3) Indy +4
5) Pittsburgh +2
5) New York Mustangs +2
7) Milwaukee 0
7) New York Launch 0
7) Sin City 0
7) Maine 0
11) Martha's Vineyard -2
11) New Orleans -2
13) Cleveland -4
14) Naperville -4
15) Red River -4
16) Detroit -9

Also, just counting the teams above and below on the chains:

1) Crimson +4
1) St. Louis +4
3) Columbus +3
3) Indy +3
5) Pittsburgh +2
6) New York Mustangs +1
7) Milwaukee 0
7) New York Launch 0
7) Sin City 0
7) Maine 0
11) New Orleans -1
12) Martha's Vineyard -2
13) Cleveland -3
13) Naperville -3
13) Red River -3
16) Detroit -5

I'll detail it with 2 teams that are the most extreme examples.

St. Louis beat
1) New York Mustangs (+1) beat
1.1) New Orleans(+2) beat
1.1.1) Detroit (+3)
2) Martha's Vineyard (+1)

Total: +7

Detroit lost to
1) Maine (-1) lost to
1.1) Columbus (-2)
2) New Orleans (-1)
2.1) New York Mustangs (-2) lost to
2.1.1) St. Louis (-3)

Total -9

Sounds like alot Beating going on, Tom. How did you have the energy left to do the Poll? And this must be just a East Poll.

It's not that hard to be in the top 5 when you are 2-0 and there are 5 undefeated teams . We've had some favorable luck for us at this point, though.

I think after this week, which should be a great game, we have a serious chance (NJ Night hawks) to be higher on that list.

SNK is a very very good team so it's going to be a tough, but great job to everyone so far this season. Its already been a great season for us, we didn't do great last season at all, so starting out 2-1 is huge.

I have no idea how I'm going to handle a loop. A beats B. B beats C. C beats A. This ranking system won't last more than a few more games, its too much work otherwise.
