He needs to be able to stop the run and hopefully pressure the QB.

Interesting. I've been thinking maybe Strength. Worried a little about his Speed. Maybe I shouldn't be?

I have always seen my DTs' perform better with about 120 strength and 105 agility. If I trade out strength for agility, they don't do much noticeable.

All your stats are from blowouts.

Never said they weren't. Just said my agility based DT won MVP last season. Every other player in that league plays the same teams that my player went up against, it's not like I had an unfair advantage.

Neither one of your DT's do anything as far as sacks go. Not trying to diss you at all, but the OP was asking advice for his pass rushing DT and neither of your DT's are very good pass rushers from what I can see.

Assumption fail. DTs are relevant when they destroy the run and maybe a few hurries, not when they get a ton of sacks. This DT in particular has single-handedly cost me games two seasons in a row ... the second season I took out rush plays to the inside left just because of him and he still got 11 tackles with 7 of them TFL and single-handedly cost me the game. Grr.

Yes, but those DTs do not do well in the Pros.

You can get by with 95 strength, but you also need 90+ speed.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1167263 - he was playing in Pro league last season at levels 59-61

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player_game_log.pl?player_id=1167263&season=15&stat_type=raw - look at games 7 on after he hit level 60

If dominating against overleveled CPU opponents in blowout victories is the goal of your DT dot building, then yes, 95 strength is acceptable. But then again, he's about to enter his decline and he's stuck playing AAA level competition against dots several seasons younger.

If racking up stats against elite human opponents in Pro and World League level competition is your goal, then it isn't good enough.

Yeah, but he's not in the Pros, he's in AAA and was last season as well, and AA the season before that. I'm convinced their team would not have made the playoffs last season without this particular dot. That counts for something. It may not count for the same things you're interested in, but it does count.

FYI, my AAA OL players have their strength quite close (higher if you account for the not being high enough for the last 2 levels of EQ) to the OLs on the Pro and WL teams I have players on.

Im wrong in saying he's not that good because he cost you wins? That makes sense to you?
