My DE has a +3 agility piece I want to enhance.
Do I buy a shed block SA for 15 BT's or save up for a +3% or +5% break block add on?

Break block works all the time. Shed block works part of the time. That should solve itself.

How exactly does Shed Block work part of the time? SA description says: "This skill is effective against all blockers, but is more effective against pass blocking."

That is false. SB works all of the time. BB% works the same amount of time as SB.

If you already have a piece of BB % then add shed block

If not, then add the BB%

You can always assign sp to shed block. You can never assign sp to BB%.

You want to end up with at least 10 shed block and at least 23% BB.

At least 10 in shed block?

Is the difference between 9 and 10 big enough to where I would want to spend 8 SPs for it? (5 for taking shed block from 8 to 9 and 3 for taking CD from 4 to 5. 1 from CE)

i usually just take my SAs to 8 and then let custom take it to 9. i personally dont think that 1 extra point of a SA is worth an entire level up that i can put elsewhere to further round out my build. even on penalty SAs that i want to get up. i just get them to 8 and then get some AEQ in it to get it up to 12-13 natural and let the penalty take it back down to 10.

the % piece will work everytime you join the field, the other wont.

personally, I would have AEQ in shed block IMO 3 to 4 pieces of AEQ in this order of importance
1. BB %
2. FS
3. Shed Block
4. TV

Some people prefer to have 2 BB % pieces though and it's tough to argue against it. I'd still rather have the shed block over the TV piece. If you only have 3 pieces and 2 are BB % then 9 is probably OK.

My level 68 DE got MVP last season in SEA AAA with one SB and one TV. Have a couple BB pieces waiting if he needs 'em, but doesn't seem to be the case. Tearing it up in the preseason in Oceania Pro.
