Technique for a DE with 55 agility? I don't think so.

Go with pass rusher or jump the snap.

You have to get JTS up first to make sure your DE always get off the line at the normal count and not be delayed. In this game once your DE is delayed he's pretty much useless. But don't pour up to 15 before you move on. Get it up to 7 first, and then get Technique Man up to 10, then get JTS up to 10, and then max out Technique Man. Then in my opinion you can go BullRusher/PassRusher and get them up to 10, and then max out JTS. By then your DE should be at a good level, and in my opinion get rid of all VA points on BullRusher/PassRusher and pour it all to Streaky, and get it up to 15 ASAP. Then work on BullRusher (I favor this over Pass Rusher since Bull Rusher happens all the time and Pass Rusher only on 3rd and4th downs.)

Works well for all my DEs that has gone that route.

Can't go wrong with Pass Rusher and JTS. I also like Power Tackler.

Tried Technique Man and didn't see any results but a lot of people dig it.

The problem with taking Technique Man with a DE with 55 agility is that it's completely worthless, if you're facing an OT with 50 or better agility. And what OT doesn't soft cap agility in his first two seasons?

At level 25, an OT will NOT have 50 or better agility -_- He will most likely have 25-30.

EDIT: WARNING: this is now. In the future, players starting in the new training system might have agility softcapped by then.

I think it's harder to prove TechMan works because you're not sure if your DE got around the blocker because of their base AGI or because of the improvement by TechMan.

At lower levels your VAs won't make *too* much of a difference so as long as you're putting points in VAs that will help more down the line, you're set.

Good DE VAs, in no specific order:

Bull Rusher
Streaky
Pass Rusher
Heavyweight
Technique Man
Jump the Snap
Stone Wall
