Having a busy offseason to bolster up the depth chart on the Toros, the Toros signed the DE Soren Nielsen to a 2year contract. Toros owner said: "Nielsen will mainly participate on ST and being a valued back-up on DE." We caught up with the new Houston Toro for a little talk.
"How do you feel about coming from WEPL to the BBB#3?"
I feel good. The team is really focused on winning and it was a shame that they didnt moved up. But that is going to change this year.
"What difference can you make?"
Besides working hard and playing as hard as I can, nothing really. A championship is a team effort.
"How do you feel about not being the starter?"
I dont mind playing the ST and being the back-up. Our starters are great players with a lot more experience that I have. Im just trying to learn from them. Of course every player wants to be the starter, but for now Im just trying to play well and make plays when Im on the field.
"What chances does the Toros have to win this year?"
Every chance really. Our first few games are against the top contenders in the league, so we will have a rough start. But so far we have done what we needed to, getting thoese hard earned wins.
