I wish they do away with WL and just create a tournament pretty similar to the NCAA tourney.
This WL promotion has been such a load of crap that it makes me puke every time I see them argue about who has to be promoted... AND why can a team decline WL promotion????

They can't decline anymore, at least those who win champ games.

This...and tbh if you didnt win Pro I have no problem w/ declining promotion, but if you win Pro (Conference) Bort's gonna take you whether you decline or not. Which is how it should be...

but tbh it should have been an announcement "2 WL Spots Open" and justhad teams volunteer...then you take the best 2...that easy.

But here is the problem...if you win with an "old" roster..then you have to fight recruiting and get chemistry issues...probably lose 90% of your games...yada yada...I think there needs to be a change as well...it's a great idea, but isn't working right.

A very large GLB run tourney at the end of the season would be fun. GLB would do the rankings and games would be every 2 days as normal. Take maybe the top 4 teams from each Pro League and have a nice trophy/other incentives for this winner. This way you also get to keep the same team that you had for that year...

I would rather just blow away the WL and replace it with an NCAA type of tournament where you take final four teams of each Pro league team and the finalists of each AAA league and let them go slug it out to determine the "world' champs. Tournament seedings will be based on effective levels.

not really. right now we have 8 regions trying to support the WL. Instead we have:

World Pro League
World AAA
World AA
World A
etc etc etc

there is no more "USA" this or "EE" that. normal promotion will work just fine in this case.

I'd say something like this:

WL
World AAA1, World AAA2
World AA1/AA2, World AA3/AA4

And demote the bottom 4 each season.

But then how would everyone play in USA instead of getting stuck on all those "foreign" teams filled with Eastern Europeans?
