Warrior General Games

I've got a pass russing DE and a piece of advanced equipment is available that will add Closing Speed. This is for CB's and is meant to boost speed and acceleration when the player it trying to close the gap quickly.
I'm wondering if this will work for my DE? And ideas? Experience with it?

QBs do not count as a ball carrier for closing speed until they cross the line of scrimmage with the ball tucked.

A player needs to be 5 yards or more in order for closing speed to work. Most of the times this will only have any effect against REAL outside runs and runs to the other side.

My opinion is that it is a useless SA for a DE.
