I'll sign him alex, but please boost him right away though! I'll send the contract through after you have done that.

I handed it back, didn't feel like it gave me any greater chance to change/improve the game than a regular user, which is why I initially signed up.
It also came with a lot more baggage, as once you have a little tag your not allowed to have an opinion (not from GLB restricting you, but other users jumping over anything you say [which when you were a normal user they were like 'oh good point'].
Main reason was a decision was made to keep the bugs mods (those that didn't already have access) and test server separate, this annoyed me for two reasons:
1) I got second hand out dated information [the same as everyone else got in the public test server forum], this didn't help me at all do my job as a bugs mod [would have been a lot more efficient if ALL bugs mods were kept in the loop and allowed to participate in discussions on up coming changes and allowed greater insight into how the mechanics of certain things work], this would have made identifying and explaining bugs a whole lot easier IMO (the trickier ones, not the basic common stuff).
2) I wanted to make a difference and change/influence some things, but I was basically a secretary pushing papers around from one subforum to another. The fact Catch22 had to (by the sounds of it) fight tooth and nail to get Bort to actually take time away to fix bugs made it seem like a futile exercise.
On top of that I was turning into a bit of an A-hole towards other users (more than my usual comical trolling) after everyone started bitching about the game changes, at that point I realized I was taking it all a bit serious and would rather be a normal user again.
tl;dr version: I enjoyed being a normal user more.
