It was a battle in the West for position and just to get in. This pick is still easy though.

prediction- Queensland wins again by at least 4 TD's

#4 Saskatoon Silverback vs. #5 Thunder Bay Wolverines -
regular season matchup - Thunder Bay won 31-17

prediction - Thunder Bay gets the upset in a closer game. wins by 1 TD

#2 North Bay Drift vs. #7 St. John's Salty Dogs -
regular season matchup - St. John's won 41-40
This game was as close as it gets. North Bay has proven themselves this season though and they can hang with the best of em.

prediction - North Bay turns it up and wins by 3 TD's

#3 Kansas City Rams vs. #6 Winnipeg Warriors -
regular season matchup - Kansas City won 31-17
It's been a while since these two teams faced off. They have both beat contenders. As tempting as it is, I still have to go with the favorite

prediction - Kansas City wins by 1 TD


East

#1 Bloodweiser Bugle All Stars vs. #8 Venetian Blinds -
regular season matchup - Bloodweiser wins 185-7
this is a tough one. Bloodweiser just barely won the first matchup.

prediction - Bloodweiser wins by a FG

#4 Iowa Barnstormers vs. #5 Village Dogs -
regular season matchup - Iowa won 31-26
I know Iowa is lurking in the East ready to pounce, but the Village Dogs have hung with the best of em all season.

#2 Hudson Bay Horrors vs. #7 Cobden Muskrats -
regular season matchup - Hudson Bay won 64-17
no doubt about it. One team here is out for vengeance. Too bad the other team will win

Niagara made a great late season push to secure the #3 spot. Puvirnituq just hasn't been trying all season. Now they will

The only opponent they have both played was the Winnipeg Warriors from the West. North Bay won by 33 points and Bloodweiser won by 46. Let the math speak for itself!!
