Warrior General Games

Well I wanted to wait til after the last game to announce what we on the Nighthawks have known for a while. The Nighthawks are are done after season 15.

We have been battling to keep this team around but RL has gotten the better of us and we just cant do the excellent agents we have justice by not putting in the time that this darn game demands! It was a great 2 year run and I want to thank ALL the fine agents that called the Nighthawks home over 14 seasons. We had our share of success, 12 straight playoff victories and 3 Gold trophies at one point and we also had our share of frustration(constant GLB/BORT changes). We also made a lot of friends along the way, even you guys KKAR

I admit, I didnt sign up and pay my money 2 years ago to have a sim game take over my life, and that is what at times this game does imho. I have a job, wife, kids...I fish, play sports etc...this game has gotten to the point that I think you need to put 2-3 hours a day at this level. That may be great for some and more power to them but it wore me out a few seasons ago tbh.
I am looking forward to just checking in every few days, train a few players, check how they did and thats it until my flex runs out. I will not miss the offseason recruiting, trying to figure out the latest Borted sim and feeling like I should be doing more for the awesome agents we have.

Lastly, I would like to give a shout out to the good ol' BBB10 league from days gone by. I am not sure if there are even anymore of them left. Those were the glory days of the sim imho. When we started out, Thunderdoozer, Grooveskip and I, our goal was to make it to USAPL. We got there so I guess we accomplished what we started out to do.

I humbly wish all those we have met, played against and argued with the BEST, it was a lot of fun.

Goodluck guys and /salute the old BBB10 days. I think you guys are the last original team from there and NW also provided a home for a lot of other BBB10 alum over the seasons.

Unfortunately I think there are going to be a lot of teams that will be calling it a career after this season.

Now that would have high entertainment value to see the reaction of some of the old Nighthawks from back in the AA days when KKAR and NW were going at it big time on the boards.
