With the SP points, here is what I did.

All SPD to first cap,
then 4 pts to SPD, one to AGI
then 3pts to SPD, 2 to AGI
then 4 pts to SPD, one to AGI
the 5 pts to SPD til it takes 6....

Then start on AGI...

Training Intense in JMP/CAT the whole time.

Is this the best way to spend SP or should I have held the extra SPs every lvl and spent them only on SPD as they built up to get another point?

If this is the best, what do I get AGI to and what's the extra points per lvl need to be spent on?

Spend them but you should have spent them all on speed. Don't add a point to agility until speed is at the cap it needs to be.

So hold the extra Skill Points, instead of spending all 5 every level? Just spend the max in Speed, and hold the rest til the next level?

many options. using the build trainer and a spreadsheet is the best way to see whats best for your plans.
but aside from that..
you want to remember to do a few key things.
1.save points till you can cap primary attributes at the early lvls ( 1-30-something) and stick with primary's for awhile (3'rd to 4'th cap depending on position and build,5'th in some cases )

2. use training to roll over an attribute once capped ( train an attribute till 85-99% and then putting points into it until you want to use training to roll it over, saving points. in other words if you take speed trained to so close one or 2 more trainings will roll it over, and then wait until that attribute would cost you 3-4 points, you get more value from rolling it over with training than putting the points into it)

3. watch your automatic lvl gians and be aware of when you are about to lvl. if you can save points and put them into an attribute to within 1 lvl gain of a rollover and use that lvl gain to roll over a cap instead of putting points into it, it lets you use those points more effectively.

hope that helps a bit

No.

Example:

Say you are getting speed to the 77 cap 1st.

Train it to say 30-33 then cap it. After that, work it to the 77 cap adding points every time you level up. There is no reason to save them after the softcap.

there is no reason to save them up after attribute+saved SPs=48, tbh.

training focused cap building was only useful for positions with terribad ALGs. archetypes fixed that, so now that method is obsolete.
