Want to play against the best teams in GLB?
The World League's Indianapolis Gurupies (http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=4813) are in search of a few top tier players for Season 16. So far we have started off our inaugural World League season 9-2, with our only losses coming to the top 2 teams in our conference. All prognostications have us firmly in the top 4 in our conference, thus earning a return invite to the World League. The original Indianapolis Gurupies started in USA A in Season 2, and carried a lifetime 142-34 (.809) record, earning our way to the USA Pro League. That franchise disbanded in Season 13 due to owner burnout....but the team linked above, originally the Darwin Lunatics, was renamed the Gurupies in order to carry on the tradition. Since taking over the Indy name, we have gone 45-3 over the last 3 seasons, thus earning the prestigious invitation to the World League. The team has carried essentially the same core management and the same core agents since Season 2.....with many strong agents picked up along the way. We are loyal, communicative and collaborative......but most importantly, we WIN!
Loyalty is important to us. With our core group of agents and multiple farm teams, we prefer to stick to that core as much as possible. As we have added agents along the way, after they see how we run things, they tend to stick with us and mainly build/bring players to our teams, as they know they will move up the chain and almost always (we hope!) have a shot at the World League someday. Not to knock other teams/organizations, but we don't want to have to recruit the bulk of our roster year-in, year-out. We want to win with those who are loyal to us.
To have an effective player in the World League, the following are basically a MUST:
- You must be slow built
- You must have boosted, and will boost, every since season
- You must have custom equipment
On our teams, there really aren't starters and backups. Everyone gets tons of plays, and especially with additional morale and energy penalties being implemented, you can't lean on "starters" anyway. That said, the best builds will "start" - so it doesn't matter if you've been with the team for 10 seasons (as many of us have) or are brand new - if your dot rocks they will be placed in the most opportune place on the depth chart.
We are in need of a stud passing QB to be with us for 2 seasons. Ultimately this player would have been created S5, Day 41+ or S6, Day 0...but that is not a precise requirement. We use a 2 QB system to avoid morale death spirals by any 1 QB having a bad day.
In addition, we have other teams that your younger players can come to with the ultimate goal of being promoted to Indy to play in the World League.
Brazilian Dirty Sanchez http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=7419 of the South American Pro League have an incredible 109-10 (.916) lifetime record despite being consistently underleveled as we have progressed up through the ranks. BDS is in need of players mainly in the S6, Day 41+ / S7, Day 0 range, but other S7 players (especially Day 41+) are also needed. BDS is also in need of one stud QB - who would be around level 61 right now.
We have farm teams that currently are in the level 40, (S10 creation), level 19 (S13 creation) and level 9 (S14 creation) ranges as well.
