First off - This is a Catch22 supported project.
I'm looking for more help with a few projects I've got going on. Both projects are intended to improve the quality of the sim and help it resemble reality, and the game of football. I will do my best to push these ideas in front of Bort, but I need help getting them fleshed out.
Project 1: Mechanics Suggestions - I have a private forum dedicated solely to mapping out the aspects of football. The goal is to break each aspect down from the snap to the whistle. This includes, but is not limited to, offensive blocking schemes, defensive coverage tactics, QB/Receiver timing, pre-snap reads, adjustments, post-snap reads and adjustments, defensive pursuit and running with the ball.
I'm looking for people who have a solid knowledge of the game of football, and are able to break down some of these aspects, or at least discuss some fundamentals and basics.
Project 2: Football Physics - The second private forum I have set up is dedicated solely to breaking down the physics of the game. What goes into a tackle? What determines the path of a throw? How much speed will a running back lose when making a cut? Those questions, as well as many, many other ones, are what we're trying to answer in this forum.
A solid grasp of physics is key here. Even if it's a basic understanding, that's helpful enough.
