We are at week 9 and it's time to grade your first half of the season.
So I took a look back through all the memories we had and the good times and the bad, in sickness and in health, for richer or poor and graded your 1st half.
Some of you were at the head of the class, some were the nerds in gym class and some of you were caught smoking in the boy's room.....................

Half Season grade: A = a close win over Indy, a close loss to Blaze are good, a close win over the Wildfire is bad. Solid "A" 1st half.
Predicted Finish: 15-1
#4 Providence Radicals (6-2) LW5 - With the Big 3 of Alpha yet to play, the second half is looking pretty scary. You should be a playoff team, but don't expect an easy ride against any team left to play.
Next opponent: #2 Warsaw Wrath (8-0)
Half Season grade: B = most notable win is over the Navigators, you really haven't played anyone really good yet other than Lincoln and Indy.
Predicted Finish: 11-5
#5 Indianapolis Gurupies (6-2) LW7 - Warsaw is your only real obstacle in the 2nd half, just don't fuck up until then.
Next opponent: #13 Krungthep Garudas (2-6)
Half Season grade: A = Your two losses were close ones to really good teams and a good win over the Masterminds gets you a solid A.
Predicted Finish: 13-3
#6 Sparta Battle Chickens (5-3) LW6 - ESL, Blaze, Indy, Queen City and Providence will give you guys fits in the second half.
Just do what I do after a tough day at work, rub one out and go to bed.

#7 [HURF]ifax Explo[/DURF] (5-3) LW9 - You guys are poised to have a very nice second half. You could get 5-7 wins in the second half, that should make you a playoff contender too, if you don't fuck it all up.

Half Season grade: B = you guys have only lost to the really good teams and beaten only the crap teams, so it's a B for your 1st half.

#8 Queen City Black Cats (5-3) LW4 - 4 or 5 possible wins are left to grab, you will need every one of them to make a post season berth.

Half Season grade: C+ = the big loss to the Wildfire really pulls your grade down, you could have been a B+ or A- had you beaten the 1st two teams.

#9 NBA Jam (4-4) LW11 - You guys are in decent shape to make a 2nd half run at the #8 spot. You've beaten the teams you should be beating and losing to the better teams, so a win here and there could get you a last seed in the playoffs.

Half Season grade: C+ = I think you guys are right where you should be. Not great, but not bad either.

#11 La Tourette Syndrome (3-5) LW10 - 4 or 5 tough games left to play, playoffs a long shot, yelling crazy shit out at random, I think you guys would be better off getting treatment in the HCL really soon.

Half Season grade: D+ = 3 wins over bad teams deserves a D, but the fact you got 3 wins earns you the +.

#12 Windhoek White Rhinos (2-6) LW13 - You guys have 6 legit shots at wins in the 2nd half, but will an 8-8 record get you in the playoffs?

Half Season grade: D- = Two wins is pretty bad, but the close loss to Sparta pulled you from an F to a D-.

#13 Krungthep Garudas (2-6) LW12 - You guys started off great with two wins, but none since then. The second half is full of chances, but overcoming 6 losses in 8 games will be hard to do. Maybe forget about the post season and start thinking about the rest of the season at the Hot Chick Lounge.

Half Season grade: D- = A "D" for the first 2 wins, the "-" for 6 losses.

#14 October Wildfire (1-7) LW14 - OK, OK, OK, so I'll wait one more week to put you guys in to the Lounge, but with Honolulu, Warsaw, NBA Jam and Sparta still left to play it is going to be real hard for you to avoid nine losses.
