Do not schedule any games I think we are just going to have to do this tourney next season too many teams keep dropping out

I have decided to make this tourney do to interest from lots of other silver teams. This tourney is here to see which silver league is the best. I know the question comes up all the time, so we will finally have a tourney for bragging rights to which silver league is the best.

So here is how this will work. I put up a vote in each league so you will vote for your top 4 teams from your division. The games will be random, but you will play each league once. I/committee will pair up two silver leagues and they will play. (Who they play from the other silver league is random). So you don't play every team in each league.

Here is an example of how it will go.

Silver 1 Team
Maine

4th silver 1 team
vs
Silver 8 Team

.....
4th silver 8 team

The teams will play just one team not all 4. So lets say team 4 from silver 1 plays team 4 from silver 8. That's the only game they will play vs that league.

Winner will be determined by which league has the best combined record at the end. I will also keep up with points for and points against in case of a tie.

People want to have a separate tourney... If you read some of the forums you would see the interest... Nothing against you, but please don't post here unless you actually have something you would like to say to help out the tourney

4*8=32 team tourney have one from each silver league in each of the 4 sections of the brackets, randomized seeding within each section to determine matchups

1 point per win no matter the round would give more of an advantage to leagues that have 4 very successful team than 1 who just blows past everyone.

So there would be 4 brackets, each with one representative from every silver division. that's just my idea though...i'm kinda confused on how yours works, makes it sound like you play people from your own league

No you don't, and that could work 4 seperate brackets... but I don't think I will do it that way because I will have to make 4 new brackets after each game... I will probably just do this by splitting teams into divisions and have your silver league play one game vs. a team in the other division, then play the other 3 silver teams in your division...

Here is an example

Ok so say Silver 1 Teams are in the eastern conf. and they play silver 8 which is in the western conf. that will be there one out of conf. game. Then Silver 1 teams will play silver 2 teams, silver 3 teams, and silver 4 teams... (that is saying that silver 1, 2, 3, and 4 are all in the same division)

With Maine not being able to play for silver 1 that will help lots of teams out that would have had to play them.

That's hilarious. Maine is obviously one of the premier Silver teams across all leagues. They won the Silver tournament last season and are well on their way to repeating. They haven't lost a game since the preseason, and they've beaten a variety of Gold teams, Final Thought, STD, FCA, Montpellier, ACS, Gashlycrumb, and a bunch of other teams. They're performing very well in the Pee Wee Cup, a tournament that included 19 gold teams and 13 elite silver teams.

Did they decline, or do you really think there are four teams in Silver 1 that are better?

Declined they said their schedule was full.... I used them as an example in one of my posts which means I defiantly know that they are the best in S1 and one of the best in silver

what is this all about, of course Maine is great, this team is aiming straight to the Gold league
